Regional and Language tab missing in control panel in xp
The Regional and Language tab is missing in the control panel, and can not
acess it in the taskbar. I do not know how it got removed and I amthe only
person using this PC. How do I restore. I need to use these options.
Any contructive help is needed

Am I safe?
Hi guys, I just want to as how safe I am... I have to uninstall my
anti-virus since it is in conflict with some games that i am playing,

Showing files in 'list' mode in Windows Explorer
Hiya Everyone:
It seems that the 'default' for viewing files is as 'View, Icons.'
Is there a way to change all the files in C drive by clicking 'View, List'
without having to go into each 'directory' and doing it manually?...

lost internet . pls help
hi all,
i have a home pc with 3 user profiles, mines, my wifes and my sons. I was

fatal file error
There is a Dump.txt file on my computer which causes two types of
crashes...The file exists in the Windows directory (not in a
subdirectory)....If I call up a directory of files, the normal response from
Windows if i place the cursor over a file name, is to display a small
rectangular box with file info...If I place the cursor over this Dump.txt

remove program
I have a program on my computer that I've tried to remove in the Add/Remove
programs function only to be told that the file is in use. I don't even
know what it is. I think it was some sort of background or screensaver
although I 'm really not sure. Any suggestions? Its not causing any type
of problem, I just don't know why I can't remove it.

Duplicate Programs under 'Admin and User' Accounts
Hi Everyone:
I want to be clear about what I am requesting. I am using Windows XP Pro

25 Digit Format Keyfinder
I need to format and reinstall XP home.
Can I use Key FInder and email , save , the 25 digit key number?
Then install with a new RETAIL copy of XP home. Then regedit and change the
new XP Home key back to my old original LEGIT XP home key?
What and how would you do it? All my DATA is backed up on an External USB
HD.

Laptop Battery Problem
I bought a new battery for my 3-year old Gateway M320S WinXP Pro laptop.
Two of the last three times, when it got down to 15% battery remaining,
the computer shut down abruptly. When I booted up and plugged in the
external power, the battery stayed at 0% for several minutes, and then
began charging. Could this be a defective battery?

I cannot Install Windows Update Net Framework 3.5 then Expression Web 2.
Which utility are you recommending to clean the registry on this;

windows could not start because
when I started my computer it says windows could not start because of missing
file. also, said to try to reinstall it. Im new to this therefore..HELP ME

Right mouse click stopped working
I recently had to do a "systems restore" because something odd was happening
where the computer would not fully start up. As a result, the right click on
the mouse has stopped functioning. It's regular mouse with nothing fancy on
it such as wireless or anything hence no CD other than whatever Windows

msn virus?
I am using windows xp with norton 360 2.0.A few days ago i got a medium level
alert for something called bloodhound.
Everyday i scan my computer its back there.
I was prompted to close all open programs to fix the problem but i couldnt

manually use Windows Update
How can I manually use Windows Update to run the net.framework 3.5 version?
dotNetFx35setup.exe
The DL'ed file, dotNetFx35setup.exe will not complete. It hangs.
Can I rename the msi*.* files in System32 and restart and retry to run the
dotNetFx35setup.exe ?

Track triplication in Library
Some weeks ago I found that when I clicked an Album to play, each track had
three copies. Three No.1 three No.2, three copies of eacjh track. Every Album
is affected but not the playlists. Cancel the suplus and the album plays OK.
Close Media Player and reopen all the tracks are back in triplicate.Ghecked
the folders in "My Music" and they are perfectly alright.
Any ideas what I can do...

Install Framework and Expression Web
dotNetFx35setup.exe
I cannot imagine why it will not work when I am trying to install Expression
Web 2 on XP home with all updates and Srv Pak 3.
The install starts then ask to install, Net Framework 3.x to which I agree.
The install hangs and never completes.
I have 2.x now but should I DL 2.5 then 3.0 then 3.5 and install and restart
after each version? It is hard to imagine havi...

Signing in
I know that this is possibly the wrong place but here goes
