Unlock Network Connections
I was signed up with 4safe.com for internet access. They had me run a
program called filtersetup that locked the internet connections in
Control Panel and the proxy settings in IE and Firefox. I have
canceled my service due to their horrible customer service and the
program would not work on my Windows 98 machine. They will not tell
me how to remove the locks on my Windows XP machine after...

BSOD when trying to connect using VPN
Hello,
I have a problem with a customer laptop in that when the laptop tries and
connects to the company VPN it comes up with a BSOD. The BSOD says
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
I am wondering whether it is a problem with the network card driver.
However, it appears as working in device manager. A good test would be to try
and connect to the VPN using the wireless or data card but t...

Ever since I successfully connected my two computers to a router and then to

both, and on one both the Windows firewall and a software firewall from
F-Secure (rebranded as my ISP's). How can I determine what all this activity

How to clear or invalidate ARP cache of remote XP

Situation:
A PC can be connected to a remote nework by either a direct ethernet

of a managed switch and then clearing the local PC's arp cache.
Problem is: If the communication is switched to W...

When I use "Start" "Run" to browse to a share on a remote server the
