Would you like to prevent your computer from going on standby in the future? I can't figure out a way to add "StandBy" back into the shutdown dialog. I have updated the bios. Device manager, under system devices, no specific icon for cpu standby. When connected to the office LAN there is no problem. But outside the domain the users roaming profile doesn't load or takes ages (like over night) to load. The problem is that whenever I try to create the connection, it always makes a L2TP connection, when I need a PPTP connection. I have tried everything I can think of but to no avail.
