removing Incredimail from computer PLS HELP
I have removed Incredimail from Control Panel Add/Remove but still see
Incredimail programs in the Folder section of "BIN"
HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS PROGRAM COMPLETELY FROM MY COMPUTERThis Company

Changing window size defaults
Help - We reloaded Windows XP due to a problem by reformatting drive and
doing a new installation. All windows now all open maximized. They used to
open in the smaller (not minimized) size. When I look at assorted
folder/file preferences the window size is set to "normal". Resetting to
"maximize" changes nothing, because it is already maximized, and then

Antispyware SPYCRUSH
I made the mistake of trying the test your system online from the SPYCRUSH
web site... now it added spyware and addware to my system so my microsoft
security center keeps telling me to update my spyware "SYSTEM ALERT" I have
two other programs Mcaffee for one and it will not remove SPYCRUSH addware
from my system... HELP! how do I get rid of that which SPYCRUSH down loaded
to my system...

Dual Boot Funny
Have my machine set to dual boot with WIN98SE and XP, both work fine,
but....
When I reboot there are two different boot sequences which happen on
alternate boots, irrespective of which OP I am or have been using.

system hangs during disk check
Hi
I am using windows xp service pack 2 os. Every time my system
boots, it starts disk checking. When about 40% is completed on C
drive(where my OS files are there), system hangs.Before hanging, disk
check reports a lot of errors and corrects them sometimes. Only way i
can get in is by cancelling disk check. Have checked for errors in C

reinstalled XP and lost user settings
Reinstalled XP to new folder then repaired origional. Operating from repaired
OS now but user/program settings were changed. Origional folder was saved to
"default" and all settings look to be safe. Restored outlook manually but
would like to change back to origional setting now in "default". System boots
up using "main" folder (all under documents and settings)...

vanishing iocns in url bar
I recently upgraded from ME to XP. When using ME, i found that often, if a
web address had an icon attached to its url that would show up in the url
bar, that after a while it would vanish and become replaced with a generic

Virus or Trojan or ?
Yestday my PC just suddenly started printing line after line of dashes,
from top of screen, overwriting the existing text etc. This was not
peculiar to any particular program - it happened in MSworks, Internet
Explorer, Microsoft explorer etc.

big sound problems
I am having weird problems with the sound on my computer. The sound control
icon at the bottom of my screen dissapeared. I cannot hear anything from the
sound output I connect speakers to. If I open Winamp to listen to music, it

Login Removal Help
I want to simply turn on my computer and have it go directly to my desktop,
but all of a sudden I cannot do that without being prompted to login. I am
not on a network; just my home PC, and I am the only one who uses it. I went

the "start" button on my desk top has always been located in the lower left
corner of my screen. That is just where I want it. Out of the blue it now
appears in the upper right corner of the screen. I have right clicked on the

reinstallation of xp on another system
My laptop system no longer works. I originally installed a licensed copy of
XP on it. Since Microsoft requires activation of this product and that

Turning internet service off and on via software
Is there a way of turning internet service off and on via software? I am on
cable and using a LinkSys wired router. Even though I am using a firewall,
I'd like to be able to remove the internet connection when the computer is
unused for long periods.Yes, I know I can remove the plug, but I'm looking

Deleting IE browser history
Prior to leaving Internet Explorer (v7) I always go through the procedure to
delete browser history, clicking the "Delete All" button. Recently I find
that temporary internet files are not being deleted - don't know about the
other stuff. Virus and spyware checks show nothing along that line. Now I

Backing up with Norton Ghost
I've just ordered a copy of the new Norton Ghost v 12.0
Generally speaking, does Ghost compress the size of the files it backs up?
Specifically:
1. If I back up only several folders of uncompressed data files, how would
the volume taken up on the backup drive compare with the original
uncompressed files?
2. If I do a full system backup, same question.
