Shell32.dll Ocupied by address range for system dll
I have installed windows xp pro sp3 and when opening various programs i get
the following message. the system dll. user32.dll was relocated in memory.
The application with not run properly. The relocation occurered because the
DLL C:\windows system32\shell32.dll occupied an address range reserved for
windows system dll. the vendor suppluing the dll should be contacted for a
new dll.

Error Message
Since one week an error pops in just minutes I go online irrespective of the
browser I use (IE 8 beta or Google Chrome), I am using Win XP Prof. SP3.
The error is -

Slow (5 min) booting in safe mode without Networking
XP Pro SP2 with all security updates and problem unchanged after updating to
SP3. Turn on and use F8 at boot screen to get menu. Select Safe Mode and
startup begins. List of start up items flashes and disappears and comes back
about 3 times and then sits there for 5 minutes with drive access light on
but no disk thrashing noise. At about 5 minutes from beginning the disk

Autoruns query
Hi
I have seen Autoruns recommended in this ng a few times. I downloaded and
ran it and I have a number of queries.
Under the Boot Execute tab there is only one item /lsdelete/. I was
expecting a lot more. I believe it has to do with Adaware. I assume it is OK
to uncheck this ?

Blocking Adware
Running Windows XP SP3.
Visiting a web site or sites and get random Adware pop-ups in both
Internet Explorer and Mozilla.
Installed about 5 different Malware removal tools, none helped.

mouse
It seems that my mouse is just alittle off . I try to click on something to
open and I must hunt around for the SWEET SPOT.
I have checked both pc and monitor for bugs, found none.
Cleaned mouse, double checked plug in, all seems good....

Too many prorgrams starting when computer turns on...
There are too many programs that run when my computer turns on. It takes
forever! There are no programs in the start up icon on the start menu

No Audio with MPEG
I recently bought a laptop with XP home version on it. I network at
home with other desktop machines which XP Pro. I have mpeg files that
play fine on the XP Pro Machine. When i play mp3 files on the XP home
machine the audio works fine. When I watch streaming video from a
website, the audio works fine. The problem only occurs when I play
mpeg files....

can't open files after running windows backup
I run windows backup every sat and every mon morning when I get in,
random files on my computer can't be opened because "the file is
currently being used by another program." I know there is no other
program using the stupid files! A reboot fixes the problem (of course,
we are talking about MS f-ing stupid OS here)

Performance problem with Windows XP can't figure it out.
Hello.
My dell laptop running Windows XP SP 3. Appears starting an app,
closing an app. Even right clicking to display a drop down menu can
take time. Drilling down the start menu's sub menu's (example

Problem with User Profile
Hi, am running XP Pro with 2 user profiles. I am experiencing a problem with
one profile and not the other. With the problem profile, the PC hangs shortly
after log-in and goes to a blue screen. Whenever I re-boot, it does a check
disk and the consistent error is that "ntuser.dat.log entry is not valid".
So my theory (and I would welcome challenge) is that if I delete and

Notification Area Question

1)Right Click Start/click Properties/click Taskbar/click Customize
2)Then select among Always Show, Always Hide or Hide When Inactive
What I select seems to have almost nothing to do with what shows up in my
Notification Area.

My machine runs slow in regular mode and fast in safe mode
When I click on anything , other than an access icon to the internet, my
machine goes into a stall, wnywhere from 1 to 3 mintues before it moves on;
even when I click START. Surfing the internet is normal. It is only when I
try an access some application on my machine, it seems to slow down.

Slow Shutdowns
I am wondering if anyone has run across this problem at some point. It
really has a friend stumped.

My users often open several instances of the same business application which
causes licenses problem. Is there a way of generating a pop up or any other

Icon Disappeared
My email icon that normally appears in the taskbar has disappeared. The icon
only appears on my Outlook Express system tray but on the Windows XP system
