CONNECT BURNER AND RESTART
Just got my CD/DVD driver to work again but i tried to burn a CD and i get a
message connect burner and restart. Any suggestions?...

player won't replay video
When I try to play a video all I get is a purple triangle in the bottom right
corner. Sometimes I don't even get that. I think my problem started when I
installed silverlight.

Media player will no longer burn cd's
Media player 11 tries to burn cd's, it prepares them, marks them pending,
then goes back to the first song and says it writting. There is an error
message that comes up and states something about can not continue. I am able
to burn dvd's just fine just not cd's. I have a plextor drive PX716A. I have
tried removing it and reinstalling, still no luck. Any Ideas?

VISTA won't play embedded wmv
I have a site that embeds a windows media player. It plays just fine on XP &
MAC using safari, ie 6 or 7, and firefox. But VISTA won't play it. It makes
the video look like it is on qualudes or something. It says it is downloading
and then gets all funky.

Problems getting media information from internet
I can`t get mediainformation from internet.
* The checkbox "show media information..." and "Update musicfiles..." is
grey and impossible to check.
I have deletet the database of WMP but no result.
Please help me!!!!

how many songs can I have in the Library
How many songs can I have, because every time I try to open the library wmp
goes not responding now.
ive been putting all my cds on.

All titles stopped downloading in WMP10
After complete information having downloaded on 20 cds, suddenly album
artists, songs and album titles began appearing as "unknown". I've done the
obvious like double checking settings. I got WMP11 once and art, titles were
perfect, then "unknown" on everything, so went back to WMP10 as the art on 11
didn't do anything for me, was hoping titles would download again but they

can't get "find album info" to work
Hi I'm running windows xp sp3 and wmp 11.0.5721.5230. When i click "fing
album info" it tells me I must be connected to the internet. I have
broadband so i am always connected. "work offline" in the file menu is NOT
selected. in the options menu i've sleected "connect to the

Windows Media Player encountered a problem while downloading the f
I get the above message in Media Player 11 when I try to either play, or rip
..CDA files from a CD. I click on the web help button & get the less than
helpful message "You've encountered error message C00D0FEA while using

WMP11 is syncing files twice on Zen X-Fi
Hello everybody,
As I think, I have a very uncommon problem:
I am using a Creative Zen X-Fi (32GB) with USB cable, simply because
Creative Centrale is not able to fit my requirements ^^.
I created an intelligent playlist (wmp) with WMP11, which should import all
songs except from such with unknown artists. Working fine up to that.

Songs Duplicated in Library -- What To Do?
For some reason, nearly all the songs in my Library are duplicated...either
there are 2 versions or even 3 of the same song. Not sure why this happened.
I converted files to MP3 format in iTunes, then copied converted files to My
Music folder so they'd be automatically uploaded to Windows Media Player.
There is only one copy of each song in My Music folder.
Is there something I did to ...

Ripping Music
Why is it that my music plays veryyyy slow while ripping? It also plays and
skips at times. I don't have other programs open so I am not sure what is
going on. Is there a way to fix this?

Windows Media Player 11 stop responding
Hi! since yesterday my WMP 11 just stop working. I was riping a cd and after
the 2d. cd just stop working. and i try to restarted and nothig not even
start... it's loading for a long time. I have Windows Vista Home Premium, IE7

Sometimes silent speakers
When playing a CD on my computer there is a clear sound, but when playing an
old LP vinyl on my turntable there is NO sound.
It's connected via a USB cable.
Can anybody help?...

Media Player 11 displaying album info in Japanese!
Can anyone help with this, I've searched all over and can't find an answer.
When I insert an original CD album into my laptop, media player lists the
album name and all the track names in what looks to me like japanese or
chinese writing - forgive my ignorance but I really don't know the
difference, all I know is i can't read it!
Help anyone?...

MP11, XBOX 360 & mapped drives.
I'm using MP11 to share files with my XBOX 360. I can see all the local files
in the library on the 360 but not the files that are on a mapped network
drive.
(The mapped drive is a 2K3 SBS, can't install MP11 there.)
Any ideas?...

Missing Channel listing in Media Guide for WSB-DT2 ch 1022 OTA
I am using Vista Ultimate and a TV Tuner card to have my system act as a DVR
for over the air broadcast TV
I have successfully set up all the broadcast channels I can receive, but
there is one channel I am unable to associate a listing to...that is WSB-DT2
channel 1022 in the 30068 Zip code. I can see the channel just fine, but

WMP Problem with Multiple devices on same IDE channel?
I have two new DVDRW's on the same IDE channel, one is the master the other a
slave. When they are both connected I can not get WMP to reconize any of my
..cda files from my audio disks. I unhook the slave and WMP works as expected.
Other then WMP everything else functions normally when I have the two dvdrw
drives on the same ide cable. I do have ITunes installed so I'm wondering if
that...

I want WMP to automatically open if I select a .mid file from a URL. How do
I do this? Right now when I select the file in WIE I get a blank screen with

media player keeps buffering
I am running vista and connected to the web by dsl. When I am at home I have
no problem with the buffering but when I am at my parents the program I am
listening to keeps buffering (and yes I am using the same computer in both
places).

Album Information won't update - WMP 11
When I use find album information my browser will locate the correct album
info but when I select finish the album information does not update. I've
made sure that the 'retrieve album information button is checked under the
privacy options.
I KEEP HAVING TO TYPE IN ALL OF THE TRACK NAMES ETC. MANUALLY. Never had
this problem with MP 9 or 10...

media sharing freezing when turned on?
im running wmp version 11 on windows xp home. when i go to turn media sharing
on (after i check the box), i go to hit ok and it (wmp) just freezes for
about a minute. then when it unlocks, the box is still checked, but its not
turned on. can anyone help me please? thanks....
