DHCP Problem
I cannot connect to the internet to sign in with my server (Softbank). I apparently caused this problem by doing a hard shutdown when I was rushing to go somewhere. I am experiencing very slow (7-11MB per second) transfers from a Vista 64 Box (SP1) to my FreeNAS box which runs FreeBSD a couple of feet away. Vista Ultimate loses internet connection
Whenever Vista Ultimate sleeps it loses its internet connection. Static IP. Eventually it recovers but the wait is minutes long - or requires intervention by running repair. Vista Home Premium 64 - terribly slow internet
Hello all... I just bought a new Asus laptop - Centrino 2, 4GB RAM, 1GB 9600M...and the dreaded Windows Vista 64 bit. The computer is flawlessly fast aside from the internet. I don't think it's browser settings, as I've used both IE and Firefox... both download just as slowly as the other. Also, Steam downloads just as slowly as the two browsers as well.
