Media Player problem!!!!
I bough a DELL computer in Feb 2007 that came complete with VISTA and medica
player, I have no idea what version of Media Player is it.
Whenever I play a song that I have ripped or downloaded it is great until it
gets about 30 seconds or so from the end. When it gets to this point it
jumps and sounds like a scractched CD until it gets to the end of the song.

Dreamscape and Premiere Show Half of the Video in Vista?
Ok I have SLI enabled with the latest non beta Nvidia driver. Now when I try
to do the dreamscape or play an imported video into Premiere they display the
same way, half of it vertically is showing yet the bottom half isn't, its all
black. Is this Nvidia's problem, driver problem, or SLI?...

Movie Maker won't import MP3 files
Hello,
I have several customers who have all recently found a problem in Movie
Maker not importing MP3 files which playback just fine in the WMP. Is it
possible that Vista has screwed this up and gone backwards in functionality
that existed in XP?
Vista is really beginning to upset a lot of people out there it seems. I am
praying this is not a bug of some sort in Vista, given that ...

Windows DVD Maker Wont finish burning
I have an HP dv6324us notebook. When I try to burn a picture slide show that
I made in Windows Movie Maker it pops out the disk when it is 99% complete
and says that there is an error but will not tell me what. I click the link
to get help and there it tells me to make sure the dvd burner is hooked up
and that if I am using videos that they are not corrupted. I do that, the

How to stream video
Ok, Im using my windows media player and there is these sites with pictures
and when you click them it gives you a preview and it would open in Windows
media player without prompting me for DLing or anything, How do I make it
stream I believe its called streaming? I dont want it to prompt me to
download I want it to open and buffer and stream like before, I dont know how

cant use my mic
Hello,
I am running Vista ultimate on my laptop (Asus W2U series).when i installed
the previous Beta (RC1 and RC2) versions on my laptop and the mic seemed to
work perfectly fine, but not until i installed the final version.The mic
hasnt been workin but i can hear others talkin to me when am using skype,msn

No Playback Sound for MIDI in Media Center
When I open a midi file in Media center the software appears to be playing
the file, but there is no sound output. Playing the same file in Media Center
causes it to be played back exactly as expected.
I'm running Vista Home Premium. Does anyone have any ideas?...

Windows Media Player 11 Vista Visualisation
Dear All,
Forgive my bad English, I am working with a dutch version of Vista. I
already had this problem in XP, but it was a beta version of the player, so I
hoped now I have Vista and player 11, the problem was fixed...

Thumbnail Preview Problem
OK, this is a good one. I am running windows Vista Premium. I have a
directory loaded with images that were all edited by Google Picasa. When I
open the directory, I have it set to display the image icon as a thumbnail
preview. In other words, the icon is a small picture of the image itself.
Some of the image icons display the correct thumbnail preview image, but

AVI audio on WinXP, no audio on WinVista
I hear no audio from the AVI file from a digital camera on Win Vista Business
64 bit while the same file plays fine on Win XP Sp2 32 bit.
I have investigated this:
The camera is a Konica Minolta DiMage E500 Digital Camera and it produces
AVI video files and it has a built in microphone. On Win XP SP2 32 bit I am
able to hear the audio from the AVI in windows media player 11. I can hear...

Help with playing media
I have a Dell inspiron 6400 laptop with vista ultimate installed and when
ever I play a movie windows turns off the screen after 20 minutes (that's the
time I told windows to turn the screen off when idle). In the power
management I chose to prevent idle sleep while sharing media but windows
still turns off the screen. Is there any way to prevent this while I watch
videos?...

CD
I have a vista H.P with DVD/CDRW it plays DVD fine .I am having a problem
burning music or file to CD. When I enter a blank CD it asks to formate and I
say ok after a few minute it says formating failed and I cant burn anything?
What do I need to do ? Thanks for any help or suggestion....

lost photos
I burned photos from my digital camera onto a dvd using my lexmark photo
software. I checked the photos on the dvd and they were fine. I deleted the
photos off of my camera. I shut down and a few hours later attempted to burn
more photos but when I selected the dvd again, it said the dvd was corrupt.
Then when i went in through my computer, it says the disk is empty and I get

SID error
Hey, I was trying to use the Windows DVD Maker on my Vista Home Premium that
just came with my new computer and I keep getting this strange error at about
13% of the DVD burning process.
"the owner sid on a per-user subscription doesnt exist"
Does anyone know what I could do to fix it?...

Windows Photo Gallery - Suddenly Not Finding Pictures in Folders
I've been using WPG successfully for a few months. Suddenly it's not finding
any new pictures in the linked folders.
Details: I have a folder on my hard drive called "Pics_005". This folder is
already added to WPG. Within this folder, there are 10 subfolders. When I
originally added Pics_005 to WPG, the 10 subfolders were automatically
detected and the pics in those subfolders automatic...

deleting Photos and Videos

I downloaded photos and videos. They were searchable by anybody throughn the
search function. I tried to delete them but couldn't. then I deleted recently
searched but couldn't get rid of the photos/videos. I finally deleted the
visuals but not the titles of the photos/videos.
How do I get rid of them?...

Windows Photo Gallery Problem
I have been having an issue with Windows Phota Gallery on one of my two
Vista machines. My Dell Laptop works fine, but my Dell Desktop with a
BFGTech 7950 card is having problems displaying photos properly. Photo
