My headphones went south. I hooked up a pair of speakers I used to use. The
speakers do not work in windows media center. They work else where. Windows
is my default and I did the speaker setup.

Problem With Video
I'm having a problem watching videos. About an hour into a movie, I lose the
video. My laptop freezes up and my screen goes black, although I still have
audio. I have to power it down and then restart Windows normally. I have
NVIDIA GeForce GO 7150 graphics w. 1071 mb shared video. It is set to "Let

Windows DVD Maker error: "Error Synchronizing Project"
I get the error message "Error Synchronizing Project" when using DVD Maker.
I can add my items, but as soon as I press "Next" it immediately says "Error
synchronizing project". I'm adding AVI file(s). It doesn't matter what
item I add. I've added AVI files from different sources. It doesn't matter
what options I select under "Options...". I've double checked my path is

windows media player crashes
I think I've messed up things by installing 3rd party codecs and need help to
resolve this.
Every time I try to play a movie on MP11, it crashes. Details from 'Problem
Reports and Solutions' are pasted below.
I do not know where to look to find what codecs are currently installed and

Movie Maker Not Functioning
I have used WMM successfully before. But recently in trying to produce a
video project, it just stopped working. It first stopped allowing me to
drag videos and pictures to the Timeline OR the Storyboard. Now, in
addition to this, it crashes as I try to Import more than one video.

VISTA won't play embedded windows movie
I have a site that embeds a windows media player. It plays just fine on XP &
MAC using safari, ie 6 or 7, and firefox. But VISTA won't play it. It makes
the video look like it is on qualudes or something. It says it is downloading
and then gets all funky.

DVD Maker - No Audio on DVD's Produced
I don't know if anyone has experienced this or has any ideas as to a
resolution, but I've made a movie in Movie Maker V6, exported it to the
harddrive in various forms with satisfactory results. I then burn the video
DVD using DVD Maker and whilst the video element is good theres absolutely no
sound.

Help windows dvd maker Unspecified error
I am trying to take a video from windows movie maker and publish it to a
dvd. When I go to publish it it goes straight to Windows DVD Maker,
after I have fixed everything up it starts to publish however after it

Microsoft Data Access Components / CD Viewer
I have a cd of a MRI. I can't view it on my computer. I get a message that I
need Microsoft Data Access Components / CD Viewer installed to view it. Any
one able to help? I found MDAC 2.8 on microsoft download but it doesn't list

Windows Movie Maker fails during publishing
I've tried several times to burn my video clips to either my hard drive
or a DVD. When I burn them to my hard drive it fails at 49%. This has
occured several times. When I burn it to a DVD, it fails around 46%.
What is the problem?

WML-11 Playlist sharing on two different Vista computers
I am trying to share my "regular play list" from WML-11 Vista to my
WML-11 in another vista computer.
But when I go check my second computer:
I open my Windows Media Library
Go to Library Tab, and then Playlist.
Under Playlist I see

BBC iplayer reports javascript not enabled
Suddenly within the last few days my BBC iplayer will not download or
stream video in IE7. The same problem exists with Channel 4 4OD and
with Facebook video. Everything works okay when using Firefox (and

Printing in Grayscale in Windows Photo Gallery
I have a Canon Pixma iP1600 printer, I have set it to print in Grayscale and
to only use the Black ink cartridge, the majority of what I print this is
adequate, it saves using the colour ink, if I want to print in colour I
untick Grayscale and select Black & Colour cartridges.

Pictures get downloade okay and I can see files/thumbnails. When I try

Anyone know of a site that I could use to upload some ingame movie

WMP 11 odd problem

No usable video from DVDs
Anyone! I have Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 1, with WMP and
Media Center. All Windows patches are updated and the computer runs like a
charm. (2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Dual Core CPU) Problem: when I insert a
commercial DVD and Windows Media Player starts it running, the video is
choppy with colored blocks -- unusable. The audio seems fine.

Songs won't shuffle during sync with wmp11
Hello. Odd issue that is irritating to me. I use an 8gb USB flash drive to
sync to for mobile listening. I always hit the "Shuffle Now" dialog before
syncing, but the "shuffle" never "sticks". When I push "sync", the songs
revert back to the original order (which invariably is sorted by artist).
Very frustrating minor issue.
BTW, I am using the 64bit version. Not sure if it actual...

Codec Error Message - what.4mp
I am trying to make a movie and when I try to import the music to go with the
movie I receive an error saying I need to download a codec, can anyone tell
me what codec I need to download and where from? Music is in I tunes, don't
know if this matters.
