Windows Media in Background UPDATE
Hi,
I have the problem where WMP starts in the background and cannot be
terminated by closing the window. I have updated my sound and graphics
drivers with no difference.
Tonight I found that when investigating the wmplayer process in Process
Explorer, that the calling process was mobsync.exe the MS process for
syncing mobile devices like my iPaq.
As soon as I kill mobsync.exe then start WMP b...

Why Cant I Attach Pictures to Anything?
I recently got a digital camera and now I cant attach any pictures to
any outgoing email, shutterfly, etc.

cannot change music file track details
Hello, I cannot change the track details of some of my music files.
I can change the name of the file, but when I go into Property -
Details, I cannot edit any field. I also cannot edit the five-star
rating for those music files.
Most music files are fine, but a few of them are causing trouble.

Windows DVD maker----why bother !!!
Problem---DVD's burnt with Windows DVD maker will not fianalize amnd will not
play back on normal household players
Having spent a considerable amount of time and money (on blank media) trying
to produce a DVD that will play on my normal Panasonic player I have given
up. If you Google this problem there are many people out there with the same
problem so why cannot it be "fixed" once and...

Ulead Video Studio
Hello,
I used to work with Ulead Video Studio when I had Windows XP. I now
(unfortunately) upgraded to Windows Vista and have to buy another Ulead
Video Studio CD!

Vista Rules!
This Vista is awesome! I had a big experience with XP for last 3 years, and
just days ago had switched to Vista. The Interface, icons, sounds -
everything looks cool! Maybe there some bugs digged inside (I cant' Install
Logitech Express web cam drivers to work properly - camera works fine in

Movie Maker doesn't publish - tried everything!

DVD Maker on Vista - Failing to burn
I have been using DVD Maker fairly often but recently after waiting for it to
encode and then begin to burn, it gets near the end an then spits the disc
out telling me it encountered a problem and could not burn. I am burning the
same files and doing the same as always. Can anyone help?

E-mailing a photo
When I try to e-mail a photo from within the Windows Photo Gallery I am
running into a problem.
When I highlight a photo and then click on e-mail in the upper tool bar and
then select the picture size I want and then click on "attach", the attach
flies window disappears and I am back to the photo gallery without my e-mail
program opening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

AutoPlay is gone
Hi guys, I'm new here so I would like to say Hi to all you first.
I'm using Vista 32-bit and run as Admins.
Ok, here is the problem. As the title said, my AutoPlay is gone. As you

window media player cannot read MP3 format
Whenever I use total video convert to convert a WMA to MP3 format,window
media player cannot read it and show an error that ' codec 50 mpeg-1 is
missing' although my CD player can still read it(when I copied file to
USB and plugged it to the CD player).Anyone also suffered from similar

Scanning Photos
hi,
i have a scanner (600x1200 dpi, max. 19200 dpi) and a 6mp (2048x1536
pixels)digital camera. in order to digitize my photos, is it better to scan
the photos or is it better to take digital pictures of the photos saving then
in .jpg format?
also, how best to use the digital camera to poistion it vertically above the
photos @ 90 degrees (i.e. at right angle to the photo)?

I've got Vista home premium (64bit) sp1 How do I record a internet radio
station or anything else playing on my computer and create a file that

Vista Extender
Ok, im trying to watch my videos that I have on my terrabyte drive on my
pc on my tv in the other room. I know I can get an extender but what
extender is the best out there? I would like to watch High def/blu-ray
quality discs w/o loss of performance or video quality. I know some of
the reviews say xbox 360 but then it says if your wathcing movies 360
might not be the best bang for your buck........

Invalid application, unable to launch Sym Addin
I tried using Windows Media Center for the first time. Several seconds
after launching the program I get the above error message (with a check
box next to "disable this application"). I am unable to play a DVD, and
have no idea what this error message means or how to fix it. Windows
Media Player works fine. Can anyone solve this problem? Thanks.

Bad dvr-ms files in Vista Media Center
For the last two months I've been having trouble with certain dvr-ms files
recorded in Media Center, both in my original 32-bit version of Vista Home
Premium, and a recent upgrade to 64-bit. About 40% of the files I record

Cant view pictures in Vista
I have a CD of pictures that I got from my brother. It has four file
folders of pictures taken from four different digital cameras. All were
downloaded to his computer and he copied them to the CD. My HP Vista Home

Burned DVD Scenes Only Shows 18
I recently burned 2 DVD music video disks using DVD Maker. It took a
Long Time (5 Hrs. each)... and seemed to hang up but they look and work
just fine.
EXCEPT
I have over 20 music vids on each DVD. When I click on Scenes and use
the Rt arrow to look at whats on the DVD, it shows only 18 videos with
No Rt arrow to see more scenes.
