Was working, deleted partnership to try another device. Now when trying to
re-establish partnership I'm told "Outlook has not been installed" when it

Vista Internet Activation
Does the Vista Internet Activation reset after every 120 days between online
activations... ie could you activate with a machine over the internet then
reactivate with a different hardware configuration after 120 days later over
the internet?

I'm getting a 0x0000116 BSOD in nvlddmkm.sys in the middle of the
"Completing Installation" phase of Windows Vista Ultimate install.
This is the x86 RTM Copy off Technet.

Upgraded from business to Ultimate
we just upgraded a WS from business edition to ultimate. the owner wanted to
have his freecell and solitaire etc.. available. after the upgrade the games
are not listed or installed. anyone know why? in the updates that happened
after the install, texas holdem was installed but that was it. I know it
sounds trivial, but what has happened and how do we get this resolved? ...

When upgrading from XP to Vista, will software I installed, such as Adobe
Photoshop/Illustrator, Auto Cad and etc, be deleted off my computer? And do
I need to export my email in Outlook Express before upgrading? ...

Activation suddenly vanished....
Been using my (expensive) Vista Utimate Full retail copy for 3 months, fully
activated.
Today, I startup to be informed that as a result of a recent hardware
change, I must now RE-ACTIVATE. WTF??????
I HAVE MADE *NO* HARDWARE CHANGES WHATSOEVER. So what is going on? The only

Anytime Upgrade In Australia
Hi,
I have looked into the anytime upgrade option for upgrading from home
premium to ultimate. When I attempt to buy a licence key online id says that
anytime upgrade isnt avalible in your region. If anytime upgrade is going to
be avalible in australia, when is it going to be avalible?

"Unspecified Error" message in The Sims 2...
Please help!
I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium, The Sims 2 installed fine but when I
try to open it it just says "unspecified error"
I have an administrator account so thats not the problem...do I need to
install that patch for it to run because I have super slow dial-up and it
takes 3 hours and 14 minutes! But it cuts out at around 20% so I can't run
the update.

Windows Mail not showing up
When I go to "start", then "all programs", I do not see a listing for Windows
Mail. I just got a notebook running Windows Vista. I am currently using
Eudora for email but would like to use Office Outlook as well. I do
currently have a Windows Live ID account that I guess was the old Hotmail.
Any help available on this?...

Dual Boot Vista/XP
I have installed Vista on a new SATA hard drive. I retained my XP setup on
the original hare drvie which I disconnected when I installed Vista.
Bottom line I have a installation of XP on one drive and an installation of
Visa on another.
I have realized that I still need XP for some things.
What's the best way to set up a dual boot so I don't have to keep swapping

acquiring bootsect.exe or Vista install DVD iso image?
I bought an Acer desktop with OEM vista. It comes without a DVD and
without BOOTSECT.exe the utility to fix boot sectors and patch them
back to Vista's multiboot scheme damaged by other multiboot programs.
Is there a way to download BOOTSECT.exe somewhere or the ISO image of
an install DVD?
MS offers a CD collection install discs for $13 but not the convenient
single DVD.

clean install with upgrade product
Can anyone help me with this problem? I upgraded to Windows Vista Home
Premium last week. It worked fine for a little while, then my hard drive
failed. I called my Dell representative, and he said the problem was that my
Dell computer was using a RAID 1 array, which Vista didn't support yet. The

Vista Installation hangs
I am trying to install Vista Ultimiate (for 4 hours now). The computer boots
from the CD and says Windows is loading files, I see the status bar moving
and it finally completes. Then the screen goes black and I see another
smaller status bar and the words Mcrosoft Corporation (Text is dimly lit) and
then it hangs on this screen, no hardisk activity, no DVD Drive activity.

Desktop missing?
Long story short, my computer locked up when I was installing Norton internet
security 2007, so I did a hard reboot (pressed the power button). when my
computer came back on there was nothing, except my Documents folder. No start

REinstalling Vista on the same machine.
My install of Vista got corrupted and kept BSOD and shutting down.
So after desperately trying to repair the original install i gave up and
reinstalled from the disc supplied by the builder.
After trying to activate this install I am told that the product key is
already in use??
and my copy of windows will stop working after 29 days?

Re-Installing Printer Drivers
I own;
HP Media Center m7760n Desktop Vista Home Premium
HP Officejet 7310 All-in-One
Printer worked fine for 4 months with this pc then it just disappeared a
week ago, did a search in Vista Community and saw that its best to delete

Install on a Promise TX133 Card - Problem
Whn a Maxtor 300GB dirive is plugged in and all the others removed tried to
install Clean Windows Vista Business.
Have the drivers downloaded from the Promise site (Windows Vista
compatible). Request for drivers pops up after Install Now (no drivers
listed to install) and I browse to diskette and load drivers. Windows Vistal
Install loads driver with no complaint.

After microsoft update everything is gone
I upgraded my Windows Xp computer to Windows Vista Business.
After the upgrade (That took 6 hours) everything seemed fine. My desktop and
documenst etc was there as usual.
So i ran Microsoft Update and restarted the computer (another 30 minutes to
restart)
After that i logged in as usual on my user account, but then the problems
started.
All my settings are gone, my documents folder ...
