Vista: 0x0000007F error when trying to do a clean install
Hi
I installed Windows Vista through Windows XP and that worked fine, but my
only trouble is trying to install Vista by booting into the installation
through the dvd. The things that would happen before the blue screen error
appears:
It first starts loading some of the files, and then it goes in into a blue
like background and its doing some other things. Then i get the blue screen

Vista and Motherboard changing
Need some advise on the process needed to swap motherboards.
I have a Windows Vista Ultimate machine on a AMD X2 3800+ motherboard.
It only has AGP, so I want to get to a PCIe mobo. The installation
was a clean Vista BUSINESS edition back in February. Then, I decided
to splurge and I used the Windows ANYTIME UPGRADE to upgrade to a

Vista "Repair Install" Are Installed Programs Preserved?
I've read in various articles that the Vista equivalent of an XP Repair
Install is to boot from DVD, then select "upgrade" to install Vista over
itself. I'm having what appear to be unsolvable problems with USB mass
storage devices on one Vista install (tried the delete INFCACHE.1 trick),
and I've read elsewhere that reinstalling the OS may be the only solution.

Vista vs Tyan S2466 Tiger MPX
I'm running XP on a Tyan S2466 MPX dual AMD (2x2 gig) motherboard with 2
gig memory. Vista upgrade advisor says it's okay for what that's worth.
I am attempting to install on a spare partition that I have. However,

Vista Cannot find hard drive

windows stopped booting...
well windows just crashed for no reason i don't know what happened and now
everytime i try to turn on my pc it's says that winload.exe is corrupted, i
tried putin the instlaztion disk for repairin it but the disk starts sais
windows is loadin files and then it just crashs and give the winload.exe

vista noting booting
ok ill sum it up fast.
i had vista for 1 months now works fine execpt the part when it just
crash's when it has tuns of load on it commen issue happenes even in xp,
but thats not the problem. it crashed yesterday and today it's doesn't
boot it sais that winload.exe is corrupted and insert and the
instllation cd to fix it, the cd is no good it crashs after loading and
i end up with the same screen...

Vista Ultimate x64 vs. Borland Developer Studio 2006

Sorry if I am posting at the wrong spot.

Error Downloading through Digital Locker Assistant

NEW PC Issue

Windows Mail
I tried to setup my windows mail on vista using my Hotmail account. THE HELP
section tells me to upgrade to this "new" version of Live messenger and it
will work. Well, nothing has changed since my windows live ID is still my
Hotmail address!!! It just made me upgrade and won't recognize that this
"Hotmail" account is what it told me to upgrade to. Do I need a new ID, or

Vista Product Key?
Will a Chinese Version of Vista Product Key work if we will an register it in
an English version of Vista because I bought a IBM laptop in Singapore and
they delivered it to me in Chinese and I cant even read Chinese. Im here in

VISTA Install Freezing
I have tried upgrading and clean installs with VISTA Home Premium and it
freezes during the install time and time again. I have tried installing
about 25 times with the same result. This is very frustrating. I ran RC1
with no problem but for some reason I can't get the retail version to install.

Do you get a product key with online Vista upgrade?
Hi,
I have a Sony Vaio laptop which was pre-installed with Windows XP
Professional, I upgraded this using a Windows Vista Home Premium CD
(clean install) which came with a different PC so I now need a unique
license for my copy. If I purchase a Windows Vista Ultimate upgrade

Easy tranfer running out of space
I have a C,D,E,F and G drive on source PC (XP Pro), and a C,D,E,F on Vista
Home Premium 64 PC. All the destination drives are much larger than the
source drives.
