How do i upgrade an eval Home Premium to a Retail Ultimate?
I've been evaluating Vista as a Home Premium version for the full 120 days,
and have now bought a retail copy of Ultimate. My HP eval has expired, but I
can't enter my Ultimate product key, as Vista won't accept it. How can I
upgrade without having to do a clean install? Surely this is doable? I
don't wan't to lose all my TV programs and scheduled recordings from Media
Center......

I have down loaded Vitual PC 2007 installed it on my Windows Vista Home Basic
laptop. When I try and to setup Virtual for XP Virtual runs a Argon PX boot
agent file and then stops at "reboot and select proper Boot device" on the
command screen. The program seems to be looking for a ISO file.

Tried to double boot XP & VISTA. Want to be back to only VISTA. Ho
Hi there. I could really use some help.
I used this link to try and be able to double boot XP and Vista on my new
notebook which came pre-installed with VISTA.

I got through the part where it will only boot up XP, then I'm supposed to
download a program to get it to double boot. Problem is, I can't connect to

Vista 32-bit to Vista 64-bit
Hi there.
I purchased Windows Vista 32-bit Home Premium today at Office Depot. When I
got home, I noticed (before opening the package) that I had the 32 bit
version, and since I have a 64-bit processor I wanted the 64-bit version. I
went back to the store to return it.
The guy at Office Depot told me the package that I bought is fine, that I
could go online and download what I need...

Install Vista from one partition to another
My laptop has two partitions on its hard drive right now - there's a C
partition with Windows XP and programs, and a K partition with my data

partition and install a clean copy of Vista to it, while keeping the K
drive.
The problem is that the laptop is physically a bit broken, so the DVD
drive almost always refuses to da...

I GIVE UP ON VISTA! (for now anyway)
After deciding to take the plunge and upgrade to Vista I have to say it has
been less than a pleasant experience. After hearing all the horror stories
about upgrading, I figured that most were newbies to upgrades and didn't know
what they were doing. I've been fiddling with Windows and upgrades since the
x286 release so I shouldn't have any problems. I've also built almost all of
my PC...
