OEM Vista Hoem Prem SP1 x64
I recently buiilt a new system and am now ready to install OEM Vista Home
Prem SP1 x64. When I went out to get the OPK, it appears I need to
download a 1.43 GB file. Is this correct? Will the install work without

Diskpart and Imagex
Do you have to format a hard drive that already has an OS on it before
applying a wim image? If yes, I don't understand how imagex can be a viable
option. It can take over an hour just to format a hard drive depending how
large it is....

Need 64-bit media
Two years ago I bought a full ultimate license and then another 2 licenses
for home premium under the old family pack program. I later upgraded both of
them to ultimate under the anytime upgrade program. Later I applied SP1 to
all 3 systems. Now I want to wipe one system and install 64-bit, but I don't
have any media that has the 64-bit version of ultimate with SP1. I tried

How to Eliminate XP Setup Option from Booting Vista?
Hello Board!
I am running Vista now but I attempted to install XP Pro for dual
booting. However, when I decided to eliminate the XP Pro, for I found
Vista is more suitable for me. Unfortunately, I now got stuck with the
XP Setup option still lingering as the default option when the computer
turns on. I thought I had completely removed the XP OS from my D:\ drive
which was the drive for XP. Appea...

Change installation language
I friend of mine managed to choose the wrong Windows language version
when she booted her new laptop (with pre-installed Vista) the first
time. How does she fix that? Is there a way to change that, or does
she need to install Vista all over? And how does she do that when it
was preinstalled (does she need to buy a new Vista license, or)?

change motherboard, keep old installation of vista?
After installing vista on a 3 year old PC, I found that I need a newer video
card to fully support aero and some other apps. Apparently the build-in
driver for the old video card is missing some features.
The computer uses AGP video card. I hate to put more money into this
obsolete technology.
Now I'm thinking just replacing the motherboard with a newer one that uses
pci-e video card...
