Is there a way to uninitialize a just initialized drive without formatting?
I initialized the HDD I was using for my PS3 with Disc Management so
that Windows can read it when I right away realized that it wasn't such
a great idea. Is there any way whatsoever that I can undo that so the
PS3 can read it again?

Laptop Mouse Problems Big Time!
Could you please tell me how to fix this before I throw my laptop out
the window??? Out of the blue my mouse on my laptop (using the
mousepad) has been constantly dropping menus so that the only way I can
get it to stop is to keep hitting the escape key!

USB memory stick problem
Hello !
Weird problem, my new machine does not do anything when i feed it with
usb memory sticks. All my other usb stuff works nice (keyboard, racing
wheel, sony ericsson mobile phone and so on....)
Mobo is Asus P6T Deluxe, Vista 32 bit, core i7 920,4 gigs 1333 ddr-3.
Newest bios and Vista updated. No overclocking.

I have a 320GB external harddrive by SimpleTech. I want to use it specifically for backup purposes. How do I continue a regular monthly backup and not worry about exceeding the 320GB capacity. I've picked up a Bluetooth headset and now trying without success to play
music from Windows media player to the headset but no luck, does my

USB Drivers Not Being Recognized
Hello, I have researched and researched. Have done almost everything I

Failure to find DVD burner on wakeup from sleep or hibernation
I've checked the event log and it seems that every time this happens there
is an Event ID 15 cdrom entry. I've done some searching on the web but I
don't find a solution.
If I restart the computer the DVD burner shows up and works. This drive has

Hauppauge HVR-1600 NTSC/ATSC and 64 bit Vista Media Center
I have it all set up and working fine, but want to plug in composite yellow
connector to the TV Hauppauge card through a S-Video plug converter and watch
my little X-10 camera. I was able to do this on an old Hauppauge Modlel

Lost CD/DVD Drives and Drivers
After reading this newsgroup, I haven't found a solution. Therefore here
goes.
My desktop machine recognizes two CD/DVD drives in BIOS, but that's all.
They don't show up in the device manager or Windows Explorer. It's as if

Missing Registry Keys
I recently bought a new laptop with Vista. I have been trying to load the
software for my HP printer but everytime I try I get an error message that
says that the following registry keys do not exist so I can't load the
software:

Windows Network Projectors? Anyone used them, or know of a good one?
At our business there is interest in getting a 720P projector, that is
capable of taking a 1680x1050 resolution from a laptop, but that can
work with hard ethernet cables or maybe even 802.11N..

Laptop Sleep Issue
I have a problem with my wife's laptop entering sleep mode when I don't want
it to. The laptop is a Toshiba Qosmio F45-AV411.
The laptop works great... until she plays a game. It doesn't seem to matter

Need Immediate Help!
My Gateway GT5408 Vista crashed. The screen reads Boot Manager. It
tells you to put in the CD & then hit repair. I only have an upgrade
CD. I tried that & it didn't help. It gives me a "no signal" screen
and then it automatically goes back to the Boot Manager screen. The

USB not recognizing devices
I am having a fairly new problem with the USB on my Dell Dimension 4600 not

Which CPU should I use
Hi
I have two spare CPU's and am not certain which one will give me the best
performance.
1) Intel Pentium D (Dual Core) Extreme 3.2 Gig with HT
2) Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66 Gig
Any ideas on which will perform faster for a) Gaming, b) Graphics work c)

USB devices
After the last series of updates to Vista all USB devices that function as
removeable discs have a problem. The problem is that Vista says "the device
needs formatted in order to use". The devices are formatted and work on XP
machines. Prior to the updates the problem did not exist on the Vista machine.
Using Vista Ultimate SP1

For use on my Windows Vista laptop, I am looking for a 1 terrabyte external
