802.11g driver missing
HP Paviliion desktop, after system recovery get error message that new
hardware found : 802.11g Network adapter
Have reinstalled several times but driver wont load. How can I fix
this.. I need the internet on desktop/ How can Ifind out the
manufacturer of wireless card :eek:

Seagate FreeAgent | Xtreme External HDD Software on Vista Ultimate x64
As many of you who use Seagate External Hard Drives might know, the
Seagate tools that come on the External HDD do not work with 64-bit

Boot Setup
When i leave a USB flash drive in & boot the PC i get a message to remove
disk.
When i remove the Flash Drive the PC boots up.
I want to leave the flash Drive in all the time.
I tried to change the boot sequence.
My Options are:
Boot Menu:
HARD DISK
Sata-0
Bootable add on cards
CD Rom
Utility Partition

Filter Frequencies for Sound Output?
I just installed a TV tuner on my Vista box, and I get a very high-pitched
ringing (barely audible, but annoying) every time that it's turned on. Is
there any way that I could use Windows to filter out this upper frequency?

Host Application Has Stopped Working - video for games won't launc
I've been trying to resolve a issue where I get an error that says "Catalyst
Control Centre: Host Application Has Stopped Working". I called the
manufacturer of the video card (AMD Radeon HD 2600 card) They spent 1.5

Bluescreen of Death with Fault bucket : X64_0xA_ctaud2k + xxxxx
Hi,
I use Dell Laptop D830 with D/Dock Station + Windows Vista 64-bit PL. The
docking station has single PCI Port. I use it to enhance sound capability of
my configuration. There is Sound Blaster X-Fi ExtremeMusic Card inserted in
the slot.
It seems that there is some issue with the sound card, as I obtani BoD
everytime I try to use the audio device.
Could anybody help?

Hello, i need some tech help on Graphic cards
i need help on a huge problem here.
I recently got a geforce 9600 gt verto PNY
And when i installed it i did this
Went into the hardware uninstalled my on board graphics drivers.
Shut down my computer then loaded the new card in.
Put the installation disk in downloaded the drivers FROM the disk and
it required a restart.

External eSATA Hard Drive Issue
I have a Seagate 1TB SATAII hard drive that I put in an external
enclosure. The enclosure allows for USB and eSATA connections. When I
use the USB connector it works fine. When I connect it to the eSATA port
of my card reader using an eSATA cable Windows Vista does not recognize

Boot Manager asks what OS to use every time I start up
I've just had to replace my hard drive on my Dell Inspiron 1721 laptop
and now every time I start my computer the Boot Manager asks what
Operating System to use. Does anyone know how to remedy this?

Hard Disk Problem
My friend got a Hp laptop with windows vista home premium 160 gb hard
but today i found out that his laptop is showing only 24 gb hard disk

No sound
Hmm. well I have been trying to sort this out for days. I just
reformatted from XP to Vista: P5k-E (MB), which had SoundMax on it. I
don't know what I am doing so have followed forum directions to disable
these drivers. I installed a sound card (Creative X-Fi) and the computer
won't detect it. Took it to a shop and they were more useless than I am.

Vista keeps changing the positions of my dual monitors
I've got a notebook with a second monitor also attached. My notebook Monitor
(#1) is on the right and the Second (#2) on the left. So I go into display
settings and change it from #1-#2 to #2-#1 and all is fine for awhile. But
every five to ten reboots Vista changes the setting back to #1-#2, which is

Harddrive Noise
Sometimes when I am copying files or opening files I get a pause (nothing
happens) then my harddrive clicks once and away I go, I have already
replaced 2 hard drives under warranty which were WD Raptors and decided to

No Sound or Applications in Mixer
I've had this issue for quite a while. i've installed sound driver after
sound driver and I still can't get sound. When I open the mixer, I don't see
the default "Windows Sound" or any of the applications that are open. Also,

DVD/CD drive
I read the posts regarding the lost drive, and I have somewhat of the same
problem. Mine disappears, but if I restart my computer, it is there again.
I am not at all comfortable in editing the registry. Is there some other,
easier solution, or will I just have to restart it each time this happens?

Windows- no disk
i started getting this message that a few ppl have been getting and been
solved. however my no disk message has a different code that i have not
seen other ppl experience. i even checked google and yahoo to search and
i get no results. i started getting this message when i was trying to
