Non-functioning url file association after IE update
After downloading and installing an Internet Explorer update, I was suddenly
unable to open a url in any non-Microsoft program. Instead, clicking on the
link produces the following error message:
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.

Ctrl+Alt+Del with On-screen Keyboard
I have a unique situation.
I have a touch screen desktop computer that does not have an attached
keyboard. I installed Tablet PC to get the on-screen keyboard. Everything I
need works perfectly EXCEPT the CTRL+ALT+DEL.
I get the message to use the security button. I don't have a security button.
I was thinking of using 3rd party on-screen keyboards but then how do I sign
on? The 3rd...

Issues installing/deploying tablet pc
I'm having issues installing/deploying tablet pc from various media. I
started with the MSDN VOL DVD (tablet pc 2005 sp2 volume license edition),
created a bootable CD (rather, several), and have tried RIS also. No matter
what I do, it exhibits similar problems, but with no discernable pattern.
The final installation seems to have most or all of the following issues:

A solution for the loud hard disk noise of the X-41 Tablet PC
Dear friends:
Since one year, I have an X41 Tablet PC that it makes a very loud hard
disk noise (crack, tang!!!!) from time to time. It is a sort of noise
that you hear when the heads reset to their home position very fast.
I search for the problem in the Internet, and I found that this
problem is very common in the 1.8" disks that this Notebook has. It is
not dangerous (no problem!!!) b...
