Setting up multiple SBS2003 Servers in one domain
Hi there, I am setting up FIVE (5) SBS2k3 Premium servers in several
locations connected by WAN links, but all need to be on one domain. I am
constantly seeing 'one or more domain controllers does not meet the licensing
requirements' and then the servers shut down one by one except for the main
DC.
What other license or config do I need for this to work and let the servers
stay up an...

re-partitioning disks ?
I have just adopted a SBS2003 with only 200MB free on the C: Partition.
There is 90Gb free on the D: Partition. (I have already moved as much as I
can to the D: Drive)
Is there any way I can extend the C: partition and decrease the D:
Partition, by using a tool like DISKPART ?

OWA not working
Hi All
Running SBS 2003 standard single NIC config w/exchange SP2
My mobile users can't connect via RPC over HTTP. I get "Internet Explorer
cannot display the webpage" when trying to use OWA as well.

SBS2003 w/WSS3.0 Upgrade to MOSS
Hello,
I've only done casual looking at this point on this subject.
We currently have a WSS3.0 stand-alone install on an SBS2003 server (left
the original WSS2.0 installed for SBS monitoring).
The data files for WSS3.0 have been moved from their default SSEE location
to a partition with more space.

NTBackup failing once a week on SBS
HI
I have an NTBackup scheduled to run a normal backup from Monday to Friday.
The job works fine on everyday of the week exept Tuesdays. The Tuesday job
freezes the server and the only way to make the server available again is to
either restart the server or unplug the backup tape device.
I have checked the scheduled tasks to see if there is anything running on
Tuesdays and I did not ...

Reason for mail sending fails ???
Dear all,
I am running sbs oem version with exchange configured to use the PO3
connector in order to send and collect emails form my provider.
It happen time to time that for a valid email adress, that the mail is send
but not received by the recipient and no erro gets return by the server saing
adress is invalid....
What could affect such behaviour ?

SBS 2003 new users unable to get external email bouncing with NDR

Boot Drive Capacity
I'm having an issue "finding" the files that are taking up almost 15 GB of
storage on my boot drive (C:). When I place my cursor over the directories
under C:, it displays >19GB for the Windows directory. However, when I go
into the Windows directory and select the files (including hidden and system

Server Status Reports
I work for a computer support company, and we monitor 15 SBS2003 servers.
Recently i have set up Performance reports and Usage reports in the
monitoring and reports section of server management.
Unfortunately, 4 of these servers are not generating reports properly. in

last few days, we keep getting error id 1011 that there is more than one

Backup error - An inconsistency was encountered on the requested m

SSL Certificate "improper credentials" on OWA
I installed an SSL123 certificate from Thawte on an SBS 2003
Standard server. Everything seemed to go okay, and I tested it myself when I
was done, and Remote Web Workplace and OWA worked fine for me using the
Administrator account. The client is now complaining that remote users are

RWW - RDP Client Connection Problems "The client could not connect to the remote computer..."

VPN Issues (Looking For Workaround)
We have had a network at our offices based on the 192.168..1.x ip
range.
This includes 2 unix servers and 40 or so stations.
We recently had a SBS2003 server installed (192.168.1.200) with a
second network card (10.0.0.200) this second card connects to a DSL
router (10.0.0.100).
The SBS server runs Exchange 2003 and ISA 2004 and gives our network

Moving MyDocuments
Greetings,
Here is the senario, I am moving a customer from SBS 2003 to Windows 2003
Server R2, they did not purchase the migration kit so we are doing this all
manually.
I have moved the shared user folders over to the new server, deleted the old
MyDocuments redirection using the wizard.

Rpc/HTTPS authentication issue
I have a SBS 2003 domain - server fully patched, XP SP3 clients running
Outlook 2007. As part of the setup I enabled Outlook Rpc/HTTPS connectivity.
The domain uses a ".local" domain name however the Certificate was issued
under the external domain name. DNS entries were made and there is
connectivity from outside the network.

Unable to view the performance report
Hi
Have SBS premium and the update service tried to install SQL SP2 - it failed
and since then I cannot view the performance report in server manager - I
can see usage.

removing ms search from sbs2003
MS Search 4.0 was installed on an sbs 2003. Which has made it very slow.
We want to remove MS Search 4.0. However there is no entry in add/remove
prog. There is not an unistaller package in the windows dir ie
%systemroot%\$NtUninstallKB907371-V2$\spuninst
