If I click retry it works, just terribly slow. how do i fix this all
machines are xp. I just redid the SBS 2003. Is the data Courrpt or

SBS2008: Problem with clients using RWW Remote Desktop, TS Gateway
All clients have the self signed certificate installed, and there are no
certificate errors. However, they do get the error:

forwarding RDP port on SBS 2003
I have setup SBS 2003 with 2 NICS. I also have a Terminal Server for remote
users to access. I have an external firewall and I am not using the ISA.
The configuration is as follows:
External firewall: Public NIC with it's IP and internal IP is 192.168.1.254
SBS: External IP 192.168.1.1 Internal ip is 10.10.1.1
Terminal Server (TS): Internal 10.10.1.10
I can connect fine from any works...

Configuring SQL 2005 Memory

Hi Guys,
I have a client that is currently running SBS2003 R2 on a Dell Dimension PC.
Just bought in a new HP ML310 G5 Tower Server.
Have read the following article from MS

SBS 2003 R2 Printer problems
Hi everyone
I'am having a problem with finding network printers and print servers that
are capatible with SBS 2003 R2 for software installation. Does anybody know
who or where i can get these products. Also they must have (IPP) capability
and does SBS 2003 R2 already have the (IPP) set up in the OS and if not how

Why can't I see my own post?
I placed a post on Tuesday and received 2 responses. THe link that comes in
the email cannot be opened. WHen I search for the title, it comes up ever so
often. When you click on it, it says "COmmunity Message not available"
Anyone have any ideas?

OT: Home Server again - it works!
Hi,
Having now installed home server as another virtual on the box that does
my SBS 2003 server I have been using it to backup all my PCs and the SBS
box. I tested out a bare metal restore (to a new Virtual server) of the
SBS using the home server recovery CD and it worked a treat, everything
was working fine.

SBS 2008 and Outlook Autoconfiguration
We deployed a SBS 2008 server at a home network. The owner's home system is

Licensing/Deployment Question
Morning All & Merry Xmas
I very shortly may have to setup a brand new domain which is something I
haven't done for a while. I have 10 users which will use an SBS 2003 server
for authentication from their Windows XP desktops they will then Terminal
Server into a Windows 2003 server to work. The SBS server will have the jobs

I am sitting i quite an awkward situation. I have set up security groups for
the company (Running SBS2003R2) and the security groups works just fine. The
only problem is now that we are to implement distribution lists. The groups
in security management have the same names as we want to apply to the

Exhchange iss in SBE 2003
Friday 12/19/2008 my SMTP pop3 services stopeed. Everytime I have tried to
restart the service the service would stop. After reviewing the system logs I
noticed NNTP couldnt find a file. I rebuilt NNTP, and that didnt work. After
re-installing SMTP and NNTP I was able to get the services to run now. Now my
issue is I cant accept any mail. All mail coming is is getting rejecting with

IIS / OWA permissions reset?
Is there any documentation of how to reset the default permissions on OWA
in IIS and the reflecting directories under Exchange to the installation
default?
I have a bad client install, and since he has no plans to move to 2008
any time soon, I would like to try and fix it.
The main issue, some users can log into owa, some cannot, they are all in
the same OU, all have the same membership....

IIS Crashing
Hi,
I have SBS 2003 Sp 2 and uptodate patched. About a month ago I install
SMSE v5.0.11 witch I belive its the current supported version for
Exchange 2003. Any ways the issue is that out of the blue the IIS will
crash and I will lose e-mail. If I do a IIS reset at the command prompt
it will give me back e-mail services, also on the event logs there a
faulting application with and event ID 1000, ...

Not receiving all emails on Windows Mobile device
I've got about 15 users in my office using a variety of WM5 and WM6 devices
all working fine. I just added a new user's WM6.1 Motorola Qh Global into
this mix and he has only been able to get emails for the current day and a
few days prior. In his outlook email box it is showing up as normal but on Q
will only show the last 3 days or so of emails.

mapping to SBS08 server
I have just installed a SBS08 co-existing with another SBS03. My goal is for
them to co-exist for a short time so I can migrate file over.
One of XP PC which belongs to SBS03 domain has a drive mapping to SBS08.
everyday, the drive mapping from XP PC would be disconnected and not able to
map again until I have rebooted the SBS08 server.
Is anything I can do to fix this?...
