We have a script that has been running fine for years where we access a DFS path. When we upgrade a client computer to IE7 the same script cannot access the DFS path any longer. The script uses runas credentials to launch Internet Explorer and open the DFS path in a window to access files which normally a user cannot access. At perhaps 4 hour intervals memory spikes to 3Gb of 4Gb available, and many if not all of our XP clients are hanging. Vista clients seem to be unaffected.
