Make Adam Users look like AD users to email server
Hi,
I have an email service installed on my hosted windows 2003 server.
(it is the free version of MailEnable.)
It wants to find mail users in active directory.
I'm using ADAM for my directory.
How can I configure partitions in an ADAM instance for each domain that
i want to support mail for?
And how can I structure the user accounts so that when I add users into

LDAP attributes map??
Hello,
When using WLM, I am having trouble getting a Contact Property to
display all the fields. I've been searching for the past 3 days, but
nothing
seems to work. If anyone knows the proper LDAP attribute name,
and format, can you please post it.
I was also wondering if there is any way to customize the mapping of the
LDAP attributes to the individual fields. Can you map the 'Com...

Domain Controller "status"on new W2K8 server is "not available"
Hi NG,
I've added a new Domain Controller (on a new W2k8 64bit server) to my
exisiting DC's (all W2K3 32bit servers).
After recommended "adpreps" and adding the AD DS role and the DNS role in
server manager, then executing dcpromo.exe and last moving the 5 FSMO roles
(RID,PDC,Ifs, SM, DNM) to the new W2k8 DC, this all works fine.
But when then popup the Dialog "change domain controller..."...

Recovering From a USN Rollback
Greetings,
I will be in the process of performing a recovery from a USN rollback.
Long story short, raid failed and my predessor had the Main DC (also
the locations primary file print server) configured with R5 and did
not split up the system/data partitions. There was a bad stripe and
the array needed to be rebuilt. This was going to take awhile so I
brought up a VM on ESX of the DC only...

In Active Directory, we've had roaming profiles set up to replicate down to
the user's Profile Path (\\server\user\profile) for years, but it doesn't
always replicate the profile down when we want it to. I'm wondering what
triggers the workstation (Windows XP) to replicate the profile from the local
workstation to the server.
For example, when we upgrade a user to a new computer, I ...

My problem is related to SQL Server.

They can access the instance only if I explicitly add a login for each user.
I'm sure that there is no group with Deny Access.
