Automatic Updates can't be turned on
I just installed the trial version of Onecare on an XP machine.
The onecare panel comes up and show Urgent- Turn on automatic Updates. I
clicked on the button to turn it on and got an error that Automatic Updates
can not be turned on a this time.
I previously had automatic updated set to download automatically but to let
me choose when to install. I notice that the automatic updates pane...

I bought the disc and installed it.
Now they are asking for more money to renew my subscription.
Isn't that the $60 I already paid for the disc?
I have to pay ANOTHER $60?

about to install second computer- have question
OK, I have OneCare on my "main computer" and I'm getting read to install on
my 2nd and 3rd "backup computers".
On those, I have McAfee installed. I read in a help file online that before
installing OneCare, it's important to uninstall any other security software-
which makes sense.
The OneCare I did install, I downloaded- so I don't have it on CD or DVD.
What I'm concerned about is ...

Problem to reinstall windowvista homebasic with my recovery disc
Hello anybody helpme please,
This is my first time for joinning and asking about my computer
problem.Last 4 months ago,I bought a new laptop computer HP-Compact Presario

Problems product activation (NL version)
Hi,
If I try to activate my OneCare copy (boxed product), I get to the website
where I can select to buy a license online ($49,95) or use a 25-digit code
from the boxed product. Ik I click for the 25-digit option, I get to the
dutch version of the website http://get.live.com. Besides the fact that the
layout is incorrect in IE 7.0 (frames are not aligned correctly), there's no

Too many activations
I got into a clean Vista re-install frenzy recently with a recalcitrant
Dell, (hopefully now fixed with new mobo, RAM, and HD).
Eventually I got the message that I had too many OneCare activations going
and could not install it.
I've been going around and around with Support on this and cannot seem to
eliminate any of these activations.

Different Versions?
Hi,
I just bought a new notebook with Vista Ultimate on it and it does not seem
to have OneCare on it. I run it on my desktop machine and find it works
will. Is there a separate version of Ultimate that does not include OneCare
or is there some reason why it does not work on a Notebook.
