Problem with Contacts
I am trying to re-add contacts to my messenger list that I have deleted, and
therefore are on my non-messenger contact list. They still have me on their
list; however everytme I attempt to re-add the contact to my messenger list
and sign out, when I sign back in the contact is no longer there. ...

Windows Live Today - how to change language ?
Clicking on the "Windows Live Today" icon in Msgr gives me the Turkish
Language "Windows Live Today", as I connect from Istanbul, Turkey. How
can I get it to appear in US English ?

MSN Problem
When my laptop go on standby mod after that MSN 8.5 wont work
its freeze the windows so i need to kill the MSN process and start
again msn

Error Code Ox8000FFFF - Catastrophic Failure
When trying to load MSN Messenger on to my new computer, pre loaded with
Vista Home Premium, I get the above error message. Can someone please
help (with simple istructions if possible) so that my wife can get back
to talking to family overseas. She is nagging like mad!!

Error 8000401a - Windows Live Messenger 2009 (14.0.8050.1202)
Hi all,
can you help me with the last build of WLM 2009 (14.0.8050.1202)?
After installation, when I try to login Live Messenger shows me the
error *8000401a* "-Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because

I can't uninstall Windows Live Messenger, Mail & Photo Gallery BET

Unable to run audio and video setup in WLM 2009 Beta
I've installed Windows Live Messenger 2009 Beta on my new laptop a Acer
Aspire 5930G. After setting up everything, i login to the messenger to run
audio and video setup. However, it just prompt me that Windows Live Messenger
is unable to run the setup.
Since that's the case, i uninstall the beta and install Live Messenger 8.5
and is able to run the audio and video setup.

when he tries to install live messenger or msn messenger , he sayes he gets

Music Mix in Live Messenger
Hi, for some reason whenever I try to load the Music Mix mini-app that is
embedded in Live Messenger, I get an error saying that there was some kind of
unexpected server error and it never works. Something to do with the server
or kernel or something highly technical that isn't in real English.

Allow use of messenger live to a standard user account on a PC/Lap
Is it possible to allow other users of a PC/Laptop to have access to and use
Live Messenger. Using their own account or create one for thier use on a
system that already has Messenger installed for one user(Administrator)?

Rediculously intensive adverts in MSN
Hey,
Firstly, "WTF"!
Having an advert at the bottom of messenger than consumes 50% of my CPU
usage is absolutely rediculous.
Don't you guys have limits for how intensive the flash content is in the
advert? If not I suggest you start running it in a separate thread on
lowest priority or something because I have to close MSN every time that
poxy advert for HellBoy comes on. Heaven...

Cannot uninstall Windows Live Messenger Beta 2009
Greetings,
I installed Windows Live Beta (Mail & Messenger)
When I found the bugs in messenger, I wanted to uninstall it & go back
to the previous one. But when going to control panel and choosing
uninstall windows live, it does not start as if nothing happened :S
any idea??

Signing into Hotmail account through messenger
Hello
I'm using the new beta of Windows Live Messenger and I'm having
trouble checking my mail.
Whenever I get a new email messenger alerts me. When I click the
new mail message it open then
MSN.COM page instead of going directly to my Inbox. the same thing
happen when I click the new mail from
the menu, or from the mail screen.

WLM V 8.5.132.1018 added custom emoticons but not showing on XP
Hi I have version 8.5.132.1018 of WLM on Windows XP and I did a backup of my
Custom emoticons on a USB key named (Backup-brianxxxxx@hotmail.com). Within
that folder I have Emoticons where I have over 300 GIF files. I have followed
all instructions and put them in the following path.

Windows Live: Why dont make it easy for administrators ?
I am sick of spending lots of time with every new release of Messenger trying
to find the right MSI package to deploy to our computer before the support
calls start flowing in with customers/employees that CAN NOT install new

WLM 2009 Build 14.0.8050.12.02 Problem
Well i hope it is still Beta cause there is a problem with coloring chat
window..
You can select screen as 5027 version but it doesnt change the color as
before now.. and when you apply the background it just applies to small part
of the screen which your and the other persons msges are shown.. it would be
better as before in the 5027 to apply it to whole screen.. o

Bug report
When choosing a background for the conversation window, the background does
not set for the entire window, only for the back of the text area. Also, you
should be able to set your own picture header and colour for your contact's
window.
One last thing : it seems that when I add a picture for the heading on my
main contact window, the picture quality instantly becomes horrible. As well, ...

I downloaded the new 2009 beta for Windows Live Messenger today. Every time

Problem with WLM 2009 Beta
I can't install WLM 2009, WL Writer and Toolbar is being installed the
other programs such as WLM, WLmail, Movie maker and so on will not be
installed, it works fine on my laptop with Windows XP s3. The installer
complains on Windows installer, and i tryed på download windows
installer and install it without any improvments, how do i solve this??

All my contacts are offline after changing email address
Hi,
I recently found a passport page that allowed you to change the login
email address. I changed my email from X to xxx@live.com.
After this change all my contacts are offline all the time. Even if i
add new contacts they are offline even though i can see infront of me
that they are not.
I have over 100 contacts and i need this to work. Where can i get
support?
Both webmessenger and 8.5 go...
