Able to download all messages "again"
Using Windows XP, SP-3, WLM 12.0.1606, is it possible to download all
messages a second time. One of the Microsoft newsgroups that I read had a
good response to a problem that I was having on my laptop, so I saved the
message, so I thought. Well It did not get saved, so I wanted to re-set the
newsgroup, and download all the headers, then download the message I was

Thanks so much for finally enabling the Calibri font in Vista! This is the
one key feature that I have always suggested you add to WLM, as it’s the key
document font designed for Vista. The one thing I think would still be great
is if you update how WLM handles font sizes. Currently, it still uses the

WLM and Contact Directories not displaying all the fields.

When using WLM, I am having trouble getting a Contact Property to display
all the fields.
I've been searching for the past 3 days, but nothing seems to work. If

calendar not sync
wlm calendar can not sync for several days, it prompts "calendar services is

How to turn off delivery receipt?
I have turned off read receipts and that works OK. However, WLM is still
sending delivery receipts and I cannot find an option to disable it. Any help

Release
I like the latest beta version, so much better than the last. Still has bugs
though. If u don't use the sign-in, all of your contacts lose their email
address. So for now I'm using the sign in and my windows live contacts. Also
why when adding a gmail account is IMAP the default option? I had to
manually enter in the gmail POP info. When is the final release suppose to
happen?

Import-Export messages
Just curious : I can import messages from WM to WLM. Why is it I cannot
EXPORT messages from WM to WLM ? When I clicked Export on WM, the window did
not show WLM, just MS Exchange and MS Windows Mail. Thank you.

I have a silly question to ask :
If I installed the WLM BUT would NOT use it as default program, what
exactly would that do. Does it mean I can use WLM to send messages, but
all replies will go to WM ? Or, messages sent from WLM, replies will
arrive at WLM, and likewise for WM ? Or, replies will go to " first open
first serve " basis ?

Read messages turn light grey
One big change with the latest WLM (14.0.8050.1202) is read messages turn a
very light grey. I'm wondering if others are noticing this too? Also, in
newsgroups "watched" threads are still red, but the titles are no longer
bold when there are unread messages - only the entry in the "From" column is
bold. This is pretty subtle and makes it harder to see that a thread has
unread messages...

WLM keep crashing when using spell check
Hello all,
I'm using wml desktop edition over a year and i am very pleased with it.
But, before few mounts wlm have included croatian spell check. That's what i
miss the most until now, but unfortunately i cannot use that because wml
keep crashing when spell check is on.

I am using windows xp home sr3 and the latest version of windows live
messenger. I use live mail through messenger. I use it for my hotmail
account. Every time I open live mail it asks if I want to set up another

Great To Have Simple Toggle For American & UK Spelling
It's great to have a simple toggle now [Set Default] for switching
between American & UK Spelling -- in the New V14 Beta.
That's what we had in Outlook Express...

Store location
I also noticed a bug when changing your store location. If you do it through
WLM it won't copy 3 EDB files and then every time you shut WLM down it says
it was unable to change store location. I found a way around it by just
manually copying the folder to the location of my choice and then in WLM
change the store location to the new one. It then says it looks like the new

Windows Mail Screen and Text Color
The background color for all incoming and outgoing mail along with the screen
