re installing Outllook express
The problem I had with OE I thought I could solve with uninstalling and then
reinstalling the outlook express but after uninstalling I could not reinstall
no matter what I tried. Does anyone know how? I also now installed IE 0.8
over the older version and at this momemnt this is where I stand. Newer
version IE 0.8 and NO OUTLOOK EXPRESS Also I get the error message that

i just reinstalled after formatting my hard drive, got a welcome from
outlook and that's it, wont send or receive
message says activate "starttls" first,

Compatibility between OUTLOOK EXPRESS<>WINDOWS XP SP3<>SOME SMTP A
Some weeks ago I received information refering my sent e-mail messages not
being received at destination. After several tests using several ISPs
e-mail accounts I arrived to the conclusion that only when using
TELEFONICA.NET SMTP the messages not arrived to destination. No changes were
made to my e-mail
accounts configurations.
There were no problem when using any of my 9 alternate ISP´s...

Several Web Mail Address: Send To One Outlook Express Account
Hi Folks,
Is it possible say have several web mail accounts eg yahoo, orange and
google download to one outlook express 6 account? Looking at Tools, Account,
Properties in Outlook express id does seem certain that you can have several
accounts.

Should I set up AVG to check incoming and outgoing emails?...I seem to

Problem with Outlook Express
This is a problem that started about 5 days ago - when I create a message
everything is fine - when I press "send" the message goes off and is received
fine - the sent message does not go into SENT ITEMS it goes into the OUTBOX
and just sits there!
If I do not remove it (transferring currently to DRAFTS) then OE continues
to send the message 5. 10 or even 20 times!
Any thoughts on a ...

Outlook Express 6 suddenly fails with Hotmail account
I have had a Hotmail account since way, way back and I've used Outlook
Express 6 to check that account for years and it has worked fine.
But in the last few days, OE 6 suddenly started generating error messages
when doing a SEND / RECEIVE operation on that hotmail account. Would someone
please help me figure out how to get it working again? I don't believe I
made any changes at all to...

Is there any way to put the list in alpha order ?

Lost email
I had a sytem failure on this pc and when I restarted the pc many of my
settings for programs were set to the original settings.
This is when I found out all my email, approx 10 GB was lost.
In looking at where emails are stored, I have two folders,{C61E7843.....}

My contacts have disappeared from my OE panel.
I use Outlook and they are there, but no longer in OE?
But, OE still knows who I want to e-mail by completing the address for me...

Receiving mail not addressed to me
Can anyone shed any light as to why I often receive emails not addessed to
me.
The addresses used are similar but not the same and I would like to stop
this from happening. They are inevitably from spammers but I did a test
today and sent an email from an alternative account to one of the false
addresses recently used to send mail to my inbox and lo and behold - it

Receiving mail not addressed to me
Can anyone in the community help. I am regularly receiving email (inevitably
from unsolicited sources) that are not addressed to me. The email address
used is similar but not the same and yet I get them in my inbox. How can I
ensure Outlook only lets through emails sent to my precise address?

Problem with Oultook Express Links
I don't know when it happened, but it maybe related to FireFox 3.0. When
I click on a URL link in Outlook Express, it opens but I have to find
the bowser page. I use the open Window of a browser instead of a tab.
I used to go directly to the opening window after I click on a link. I

Unable to receive attachment from a particular person
Hi!
In our organization one of the user (A) is using outlook express 6. From
today morning the user (A) can't receive attachment from a user (B) who is
using ms-outlook 2003. But he can able to receive attachments from other
users (C,D,E)who are all using ms-outlook2003.

Import WLM messages back into OE6
Hello!
Like an idiot, I imported everything from OE6, including several years worth
of archived messages, into Windows Live Mail (WLM) and have been running
that for several months. I hate it. It's slow, just goes "duh" all to
often, and is simply not intuitive.
I want to go back to OE6, at least while Microsoft still supports Hotmail

OE won't start
I wrote about this problem a few weeks ago. There are multiple users on our
PC and one of the users can't open OE. A dialog box to mangage identities
