IE 6 won't access a particular page
I recently built a new computer and installed a fresh copy of Win XP on a new
hard drive and it installed IE 6. I know that it has since done some
updating, but now I can't log onto the Chase.com website. I can get to their
home page, but once I put in my user name and password, it errors out on me
every time I have tried it so far. It says Internet Explorer caused an error

IE running at 100% at Windows startup and displaying CID popup adv
I've now upgraded to IE8 but had this problem on IE7 too.
iexplore.exe starts automatically at windows startup and runs between
90-100% cpu utilisation, effectively locking the PC. If left running (I
usually 'end task') it will eventually calm down, but I will start to get
adverts popping up with a CID label on the blue bar at the the top of the IE
window.
I believe from searching the ne...

blocked:: = problem
Hi,
When I click on this link http://www.viewpoint.net.uk/ in OE, IE6 shows
blocked:: in the address bar. This is a perfectly legitimate site. I also
have it in my Trusted Sites. I do NOT have Content Manager on.
Anyone explain why?
Thanks

Change IE start page from my program - how?
During installation, my program asks the user if they want to change
their browser start page, but even if they say "Yes" I'm unable to
modify the registry. If I open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft
\Internet Explorer\Main with KEY_READ and KEY_WRITE permissions and
then try to modify the "Start Page", it returns error 5

My IE6.00.2900.5512 has, in the last week or so, begun sporadically

How to get 128-bit security with IE6
If I go to Help/About, I see:
- Version 6.0.2800.1106
- Cipher Strength: 56-bit
- Product ID:51873-335-7881281-09075
- Update Versions:;SP1;
I think that the 56-bit strength is what's preventing me from going to
my bank's home page. When I go here,
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=195833,
it says that IE supports only 40- and 128-bit encryption.
First question is, Is Cipher Streng...
