Wallpaper
Does anyone know if there is a wallpaper "slideshow" program that doesn't
need "adm. privilages" to install. Would be nice if Microsoft would have
created such a nicity as part of their Windows software.
I previously posted this and a gentleman named "Tony" responded:
"Here is one that does what you want - I have no idea wether or not it
actually runs on a 64bit OS, but at least it seems ...

No DVD
player da TV funciona perfeitamente. Alguém sabe como resolver isso?
Obrigado.

Application abending with exception codes "0xc0000005" or "0xc0000374"
I've found hundreds of entries on this problem but none of which end with
any kind of definitive solution. At least none that have made any sense or
difference in my case.
I have a new 64 bit build and just installed some software that I have been
successfully using on a 32 bit platform. It's a 32 bit application but the
vendor says that it runs on either a 32 bit or 64 bit platform. ...

Video drivers won't install - unable to load aticim.dll
I can no longer get any of the ATI drivers to install. XP64, two ATI 3870s,

version I try. I'm dead in the water.

SCSI controller and Vista x64
Hello!
I would like to connect my Hitachi Ultrastar 36 GB disk to my Vista x64
computer.
I have an old "Initio 9100" SCSI controller which AFAIK is not supported.
At our local computer shop I can order one of the following Adaptec-s:
(a) 2010S SCSI RAID
(b) 29160N OEM
(c) 29320LPE OEM PCIe
It seems that only (c) is supported with drivers from Adaptec:

Open Office and Photoshop hang ; GDi32
Well, it is back again. My X64 running on an AMD64 X2 4400 gets in
this mode where two programs hang: photoshop 6 and open office calc. I
installed open office 3 and it made no difference. This is not a
matter of software updates, since this problem mysteriously comes and
goes.
When photoshop hangs, it is in gdi32.dll. Here are the results from a
search on gdi32.dll

Restart when entering standby - Solved!
Three weeks ago this new issue showed up overnight in my Vista x64 PC.
Putting my PC into standby would cause a sudden restart (reboot) with no
error message/BSOD.
Just the black and white Vista text menu giving me startup choices (Safe,
etc...) because the system had not been shutdown properly.
What changes had I done three weeks ago?
I had switched from NVidia 8800GT to ATI 8450, and upd...
