ATI 7.3 Issues?
Anyone else noticing some issues with the latest ATI 7.3 drivers in Vista? I
loaded them on the Ferrari, and it's flashing the screen a lot, especially
in Windows Mail - select a new message and the screen flashes at least once,
maybe twice. This is as bad as the early beta drivers from that perspective.
I'm going to roll back to 7.2, but was wondering if I was the only one
seeing this?

The 64 bit question...
From the meager info I have gathered about my system (the two important
pieces being a Dell P965 BTX motherboard and intel Core 2 6700 CPU 2.66GHz),
it seems that I should be able to run Vista 64 bit. Can anyone here confirm
that? Not that I am looking to jump right into that, as I am already running
the 32bit Vista, but I am curious for future reference. My other question is,
should I d...

/3GB switch to WinXP in Vista bootloader
I have Vista Ultimate 64 and WinXP MCE 2005 installed and I'm using
the Vista bootloader. How can I set the /3GB switch on the WinXP MCE
installation?
A google search has lead me to:
<http://blogs.technet.com/brad_rutkowski/archive/2006/10/03/Hey-where-did-_2F00_3GB-go-in-Longhorn-and-Vista_3F00_.aspx>
but that's about adding the switch to Vista, and that is not what I
need.

Traditional technologies support
Which technologies that was developed for win32 works also in 64 bit ( com,
directshow dotnet etc...).
If any of them is supported, does it have its own version that actually
exploits the wide register width or is it the same traditional code?

64 bit hardware, compatibility with 32 bit OS
Based on everything I have read here and elsewhere is is accurate that I can
buy 64 bit hardware and intall either 32 or 64 bit OS versions based on what
software i might be loading?
I need to do some software testing, but I just want to ensure that if my
information is bad about the 64 bit stuff i think will work that i can
reimage back to the 32 bit OS version on new hardware for now ...

Vista 32, or Vista 64 for my CPU?
I'm building a computer soon, and I have a processor with 64bit support,
virtualization tech. and all that jazz, and it's Vista ready. So my question
is, should I get the 64bit version of Vista, becuase it'll run on my
computer, or should I just go with a slightly cheaper (on Ebay) 32 bit? I'd
also like to run some games on this computer that aren't compatible with 64
bit, they have gene...
