Vista RC1 Product Key - anyone remember?
I had the 64bit installed - it has since been removed, have the key written
down safely.
Now I found reason and space to try out the 32bit (different machine) can I
use the same key now? The machine where the ISO's are stored (and the
e-mails with the keys) is not currently in use. Moreover, the 32bit may be a
coaster, may have to try the Beta2, but I only have the one key at hand -
can it...

WMP11
Anyone else with this annoyance. Every time I try to use the slider to
change positions in any media I am playing, it takes about 2 seconds before
the change takes place. I was hoping is was related to the CPU speed, but
it happens now with the 5200+ the same. It is really annoying when trying
to find a certain spot of any recorded show. WMP10 never did that. The
change was instant....

I sure appreciate this newsgroup.
Most posts are civil and I see very little trolling. I just jumped over to
the vista newsgroup and am amazed at all the negativity and trolling.
Just wanted to say thanks for keeping it on focus.

Hauppauge very slow to release 64 bit drivers for some products
Recently on the Hauppauge forum in the UK the following message appeared:
-----------
There have been a number of threads here recently regarding 64-bit drivers,
collectively known as the 88x range:
Nova-T
HVR-1100
HVR-1300
HVR-3000
HVR-4000
These products all the use same driver - so it is one driver for all the

Running 64 bit Windows
Hi
I am new to running 64 bit OS. From what I gather, it is possible to run
64-bit Win XP/Vista on certain types of CPUs which support EM64T instruction
set. Is this right? Would there be any performance degradation in doing
this?
Thanks

I have a compliance problem and I need to know and be able to explain to
legal team the meaning of a file's Date Created, Date Modified, Date Accessed

It's funny but untill I had to explain this I always just took them for

Slightly off-topic but for those who want a little distraction you might want
