RECYCLE BIN
Hello
I did a really dumb thing-I deleted my recycle bin when I meant to
simply empty it.
Does anyone know how to restore it?
Thanks

New Install Keeps Failing
My boss installed Ubuntu and XP64 on this machine (This is an EVGA nForce 4
Mainboard with AMD Athlon64 with one SATA drive) but there was no room on the
working (Yes XP was working) XP partition to install anything on it. So using
the install program from the CD I removed all partitions then
created/formatted one NTFS partition.
Upon first reboot from the install program the screen said:...

DVD-ROM - Driver not recognized
After of year of working, my external USB DVD burner would not load the
device driver. The hardware was correctly recognized in Vista 64-bit (as
well as in my BIOS). I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, using other USB
ports, trying to update driver, and booting in Safe Mode. Nothing worked.
Odd thing is that when I did check to update the driver Vista reports I have

64-bit Server 2008 for a Windows Printer server
I am buying a new machine to be our printer server, and we are
considering whether to go with 32- or 64-bit 2008.
The server will most likely be a HP Proliant DL 360. It will host
about a dozen printers, including plotters.
We have some people doing big production print jobs that take a lot of
time, so I would really like to increase printing performance.
Is there any adva...

Argh! Now I did it. System only boots in safe mode
Working on this Photoshop problem, I decided to run "filemon" to see
what files were being accessed. My systems is set up with most user
file on E and the system on C. I noticed from filemon that the system
was picking up some system files on E. Now it turns out this PC was
dual booted with XP in addition to X64. When I did a system restore, I

Vista 64 bit or Windows XP x64 edition ?
My 120 days of eval are nearly up.
I have found the XP 64 bit version of windows the most stable and reliable
version of Windows I've ever used and have had only one BSOD when I was
overclocking my graphics card, so not really a microsoft o/s issue.
I mainly use the computer for office applications, photoshop, video editing
and playing FSX.
Given that I can get an OEM copy of Vista ...

wondering whether I should Have chosen the 64x version.
What are the implications of runing the 32 bit version with a 64 bit

Driver for Agfa SnapScan e52
Hi!
From time to time a scanner can be handy - but
as I am using XP x64 and own an Agfa SnapScan e52-
Scanner I lack a driver to use my own scanner.
I know that Agfa has stopped any support for their
scanners. But maybe somebody found out another way
(anotherdriver) to use that scanner with XP x64!??
Thank you!
