I used the windows update and standalone SP1 update and each time it has failed, failed so much that i had to boot the Vista DVD and reinstall over the current Vista. I noticed that when i reinstall over the current Vista all my programs still work. So i was wondering if i get a Vista Ultimate DVD with SP1 slipstreamed with it, would i be able to reinstall vista with SP1 over my current non SP1 Vista? IF i am not, i am just going to do a clean install of 64-bit Vista then. THanks gUyz -- akballow
