I was faced with the same predicament when I obtained a Cruzer USB thumb drive.
You would be better off going to the Lexar website and see if you can get the reinstall program for the security part of the drive.
I wonder if you can format the drive to NTSF? If you do succeed, please post back; it would be valuable information.
