Installing Dutch and English languages on XP Home? "Ian Hayes" <davoutXXXYYYZZZ[ at ]dsl.pipex.com> 11/12/2008 12:32:14 PM I have an English friend who lives in Holland. He has a desktop PC that runs 'XP Home' with a Dutch language setup for his Dutch speaking children. There are separate user logins setup for him and each child. For his own use on this PC he'd like to change the deployed language from Dutch to English. Is this possible on 'XP Home', if so how? We've looked at the various regional settings dialogs and we can't see a way of installing/employing native English. Any ideas?

However those parts that are stored as text files (e.g. BOOT.INI) can be revised to display screen messages in any language that can be written in ASCII. The Multilingual User Interface (MUI) is available only for Volume Licensed English versions of WinXP Pro.
