word vs outlook printing "ITNews" <ITNews[ at ]net.it> 12/20/2008 4:26:34 AM The same printer and PCL driver prints ok from word, but blank pages from outlook. I was wondering what are the diferences between these two Microsoft applications, when it comes to printing ... how do they handle it .... Thanks in advance!

If this is happening to HTML messages AND you're running a version of Outlook prior to 2007 (you didn't specify), it's likely due to some issue with Internet Explorer as Outlook uses IE's rendering engine for HTML email and there have been blank page issues between Outlook/Outlook Express and Internet Explorer. Word, by contrast, uses it's own rendering engine. It sounds like this modified version of the Word rendering engine is the problem. Is there anyway to make outlook use the Word rendering engine, please? If not, is there anyway to modify the modified version of the Word rendering engine? Thanks!
