Imported VOB file plays for only 16 sec in Vista MM

I have a VOB file that I've downloaded from my son-in-law's Sony camera.
Other VOB's from that camera work fine, but I have one that plays for about
16-18 seconds, and then stops. When I first select the file, I can drag
the slide bar to about any place in the file, but from there it will only
play the 16 seconds. I'm pretty sure the file is corrupt in some way
because MM thinks it is 26:30:26 hours long. The file is only about 245MB.

Other than this one file, I've had pretty good luck so far with MM. I've
imported VOB's from XP Media Center, MOV's, MPG's, etc. with no problems.
I find it curious it can play 16 secs worth from anywhere, but then stops.
The time counter continues to advance, but the frame doesn't. Probably
some buffer full, but then has to read from the file again and loses it's
place.

I'd be willing to send the file if anyone is interested, just a clip from
Seaworld Shamu show.

Did you figure out what the problem was?

I really appreciate any input you may have.
