If Windows Live Messenger would ever get out of the Not Responding state it seems to be stuck in, I would include the version number. But I know it's not a beta version. Probably 8.5
I am running an up to date XP Pro operating system. The only program I have any trouble with is Windows Live Messenger. It doesn't consume any real system resources whether in normal or not responding state. I can use all other programs.
There is a secondary window behind the Contacts window, that is always there when it is not responding, but not when it is actually working. Which seems a rare occasion lately.
Any ideas what the [ at ]#$% is happening? Below is the error report send to Microsoft when I finally just shut the damn thing down:
szAppName : msnmsgr.exe szAppVer : 8.5.1302.1018 szModName : hungapp
szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000
