If the version of the "Home" operating system came installed on your computer and was not an upgrade product that was purchased and later installed over the OEM version that came with the system you will need to call the technical support for the company that manufactured the system and not Microsoft.
If this was an upgrade version or a retail version of the operating system that was purchased later you need the key that was on the CD case on the orange sticker that said not to lose this... In that case you should call Microsoft but be prepared to show evidence of purchase.
