Halo 2 problem
ultralabrat 11/11/2008 10:46:05 PM
I just installed Halo2 onto my sons PC, and am having some trouble. When the
game starts, it does a cutscene to where you are supposed to calibrate by
looking at the dots. When the control is returned to you, the scene
automatically drops to the floor and starts rotating quickly to the left (I
believe, can't remember for sure). When I move the mouse to look up, does
until the mouse stops moving on the desk, and then it drops back down (but
the spinning never stops). When I played this a couple of months ago on my
computer, I had no problem. Yes, I updated the graphics driver. My computer
uses a nVidia card, while his is an ATI. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes I don't think Halo 2 works on XP... From what I've heard it doesn't work
on XP, because I think that it's Vista Only...Sorry if it doesn't work.

It *is* Vista-only, so assuming OP is running XP because they posted in an
XP group, they might have mis-spent their money. There may be hacks on the
Net somewhere, but I daresay MS would frown on them rather...

If, on the other hand, ultralabrat has Vista, he/she should repost in the
Vista games group.
