Windows Boot Up process johow 11/25/2008 1:19:01 AM Using Windows XP SP3. Recently on every boot up process I receive the following message -- "F1 key to continue; F2 to run setup utility". Pressing F1 completes the process normally. What must I do to get rid of this message. -- Thanks

If its off, like year 2000, then the battery might be bad on the motherboard and the need to hit F2 and run the setup is an indication its low and you are losing your settings.

Flaky advice once again, Andrew. As the others have said, the OP probably simply needs to change his battery.
