WMP for Mac doesn't have a library feature or AFAIK CD ripping either. So I imagine you're talking about WMP for PC instead (this is a Mac group)
Usually the turntable would be provided with some ripping software, which is typically Audacity : http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ would have the most recent Aduacity veriosn, as the ones shipped on CDs with the turntable are often out of date.
That will allow you to rip to WAV, and trim/edit the tracks by splitting them on silent parts, as well as remove pop, crackle etc.
It can also convert WAV to MP3, which is probably quite usable as-is in WMP. If you look in My Music folder to see how WMP has arranged the CD rips, just create a folder for your artist (if not already present) and then a sub-folder for the album name, and copy the MP3 tracks to there.
Press F3 in WMP to bring up the Monitor Folders dialog, to search the directory structure for new content, which it should pick up as-is.
