Dear group,
I am new to this WMDRM,
I need some information regarding the WMDRM porting for Portable
devices.
1) Secure storage: is normal File system with SD Card/ Ram Disk is
fine or any security support is required from
RTOS/ Hardware ?
2) I keep one of my H/w timers for Secure clock and expose the WMDRM
API for set/get.
How does the WMDRM client code protects the tampering of the clock
from other applications?
How can it confirms that one who is setting the clock is the
authorized one?
3) What are the key things that effect the WMDRM porting for Portable
devices ?
4) What happens if the License Store file deleted unexpectedly ?
5) If i port all the WMDRM Client to my portable device, and having
all WMDRM API supported, what are all the
actions takes place once if i connect my device to windows PC.(my
device don't have network capability)
6) What are the mandatory features that my device should support to
work with Windows media player?
7) Is it compulsory to have MTP support on my device ? How it will
effect WMDRM ?
8) Do i need to take care about any algorithms/methods while porting
the WMDRM ?
Please help me in getting clear understanding about WMDRM porting.
