Netflix - Windows Media DRM - component could not be upgraded Jdogg <jdoggblack[ at ]gmail.com> 10/2/2008 2:35:18 AM If you get the "component could not be upgraded" error while trying to use Netflix Watch-it-now feature, your network administrator could be blocking this feature through group policy. To get around this, you need administrative rights, and you need to change the following registry key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WMDRM\DisableOnline Change the value from 0 to 1. This fixed my problem and it took me two days to find out, and Netflix support was unable to help. Just thought I'd share the love. -Jdogg
