Out of Range when starting Media Center Rune 10/19/2008 6:46:00 PM When I start Media Center my BENQ Q20W5 (or FP202W?) monitor goes into "Out of range". It works fine until I start Media Center. When using alt-tab it is ok again. I tried setting larger resolution, but no success. I am not able to set the resolution as high as the recommended 1680*1050, the highest possible is 1280*1024. Update is 60 Hertz OK so the spec sheet claims 1680x1050 , 56-76Hz refresh : ftp://12.145.38.159/monitor%2flcd%2fdatasheets%2ffp202w_specs.pdf What I'd check here then, is that the monitor isn't listed in Control Panel -> Display, as a "Generic Monitor". If it is, install the driver software supplied with the monitor, so it's identified by windows.
