hello i'm trying to download mcafee security, and it says that i don't have
sufficient memory to download it. How do you free up memory space verbatum
and where do i look for any and all the information about my memory also its
not a cd download but a download from the internet.

Do not use McAffee!!!!

There are plenty of alternatives out there that actually work

Freeing up memory is easy. Go into Task Manager and on the processes tab,
shut down any processes that are not needed. Add memory columns as needed.
I agree with Philo that there are better products and would never personally
use McAfee or Norton.

This error message that you quote isn't saying very much really - how much
RAM do you have? How much HD free space? How did you configure the virtual
memory manager? Have you run the Defragment Analysis Report lately?

Any other worries from downloading stuff, generally?

I've been using avast plus AVG, with AVG just to check websites before
I click on them.
