I'm running XP SP3 and recently I stopped getting the preview screen with the selected photos in the PPW. In the second screen where the 'Picture Selection' pane is shown, there aren't any images to choose...and there's no 'next' option. Any ideas?

================== Try this, maybe it will restore the option:
Go to...Start / Run and type (or copy/paste):
"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL" (without the quotes)(Yes, there's a space between 2 and S)
Click...OK.
A dialog box should report the following:
"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

John, Thanks, that didn't do it for me.
I have tried HELP / Detect and Repair, but am prompted for the MS Office disk and this came installed on the box (Dell) without the Office disks...

===================================== Does this only occur with the Photo Printing Wizard?
What is the format of the image files?
After running the command...did you receive the "SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded" dialog?
Try the following:
Go to...Start / Run and type (or copy/paste):
regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll (yes, the space after the 2 and the space after the i is required)
Press...Enter...
You should see a dialog box that says: DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in shimgvw.dll succeeded

John, Thanks, still no go - both times I got the '...succeeded ' message.
This is happening only in the PPW with any type of graphic file...

============================================= Sorry, I'm running out of ideas...
Maybe it would help if you delete all your temporary internet files.
Go to...Start / Run...and type or copy/paste the following:
== %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files ==
Click OK or Press Enter
Select all and delete everything in the Temporary Internet Files folder.

Try the following links...
Who knows...one of them might work...
Unable to preview JPG GIF and HTM files in Display Properties dialog: http://www.winxptutor.com/noimgpreview.htm
Scroll down to #17 right column: "Restore Thumbnail Views In XP": http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
If you decide to try it, let us know the result.
One last thought...are you running Adobe Photoshop?
