Problems with Guide
"Art Nadelman" <art[ at ]nadelman.us> 10/10/2008 3:18:54 PM
On 10/7, my Verizon FiOS added a large number of HD channels (good news) and
therefore changed most of the cable channel numbers. About a month before
this, I contacted zap2it.com to inform them of the change that was coming.
On 10/7 they didn't have the new channels setup so I contacted them again
with the new lineup. Yesterday, on 10/9 it was up.

However, when I told my Vista MCE system to update the guide, there was no
change to the channel listings. So I decided to go through the tuner setup
process again to see if that would make a difference.

No change again.

What gives? Any ideas would be appreciated as I a) don't want to manually
have to change all of the channels and b) would not have access to the new
hd channels either.

Thanks.

try another zipcode close to you with the same lineup. do you get
new channels? if yes, when you switch back and rerun to your own
zipcode, what happens?

Is there a way to change the zip code without going through the entire setup
again?
