After a while of successful operation of the XPe installed on my single board computer (Tiny886ULP), the developed applications on the SBC started to go into halt more frequently during operation. The system started to display a blue error screen several times and freeze at the windows loading screen. After examining this problem for several trials, windows xpe was re-installed to reset the system. The CFlash was mistakenly formatted to install the Windows XPE again. However, it should have been deleted instead of formatting. In order to make the CFlash bootable again, the sequence (Fdisk, Format, Bootprerp, copy xpe image) was conducted.
Unfortunately, the original problem of freezing at the windows loading screen persisted as before.
Some attempts were carried to overcome this problem. When trying to install Windows XP SP2 from the bootable CD, the process was halted after the loading of the system files at the beginning. The blue page was displayed with a message in the bottom bar saying "setup is starting Windows".
When trying to use a regular hard disk drive with Windows XP installed on it; the system succeeded to boot into Windows. Unfortunately; it halted after no more than two minutes of operation.
When trying to use a regular hard disk drive to install a Windows XPE image on the hard desk, the result was the same with the Cflash which is the freezing at the loading screen.
The questions are: 1- Is it a hardware problem or an MBR issue and how can I solve it? 2- Does this problem have a relation with my faulty screen cable, whereas it has several cut wires (might be shorted)?
thank you
