IS IE8 not compatible with Mcafee security center Don 11/20/2008 9:06:22 AM I contract Mcafee through Comcast cable. I recently downloded and installed IE8. Upon doing so I could only pull up a clear pop up box for mcafee security center with no menus listed. However after uninstalling IE8 mcafee worked fine. Is there asolution to this problem where i can have them both?????? -- Don

To use Microsoft's webnews-for-dummies interface (which demands that scripting be enabled) to visit the Internet Explorer beta group, go to: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta A much better solution is to use a newsreader (e.g., Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Forte Agent, 40tude Dialog, XanaNews, Xnews). If you do not have or do not want to use your own NNTP (Network News Transfer Protocol) server, connect your newsreader to: msnews.microsoft.com Then go visit the Internet Explorer *BETA* group at: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta
