Windows Media Player Network Sharing service Romaric 10/12/2008 8:35:01 PM Hello, I am a user of WMP Network sharing service and it appears that this service is writing a registry key every 5 seconds: HKCR\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences\BackgroundScanCompleteDate As it involves disk access, I would like to lower this disk access hence the registry key set. Is there another registry key that allows to set the Scan frequency ? Regards.
