Slow browser help--GOOD STUFF!!!

As already noted, dump the registry cleaner/booster. I don't know about
UniBlue Speedup, but you could stop using it as well temporarily.

Reduce the size of the IE cache to 50 megabytes or less, and empty the cache
(temporary internet files). You can also run "disk cleanup" to empty other
kinds of temp files. Better still is download Ccleaner and use it to remove
temp files, including backups of Microsoft security updates to free up disk
space. After all of the above defrag the hard drive.

Install Winpatrol so you can view all of the items that are auto-starting
and also the IE BHO's (toolbars and other plugins). Disable all unnecessary
startup items and remove unneeded toolbars and plugins.

All of the above assumes that the problem is related to lack of maintenance,
but it could also be caused by malware. Use MBAM and/or SuperAntiSpyware
and make sure the system is clean (they are free of personal use).

The first test I would perform is turn off the virus protection. If
all of a sudden things run spiffy, then it's not configured correctly,
or you need to try something else. If you are running 32 bit Vista then
an alternative to a Virus Shield would be Sandboxie. It has a free
version. I use it both on XP and Vista 32 bit. Instead of scanning for
viruses you run your browser(or any application you want) "sandboxed"
which basically means whenever the application tries to write to your HD
it's redirected inside a Sandbox Folder. This avoids stuff like Malware
installing fake system files etc...

These 3 programs are snake oil and will do nothing to help your computer,
beyond what comes with the operating system!

This is also next to useless.

Uninstall the 3 snake oil programs you have on your computer. Get rid of
Norton products also.

Then install a good antivirus program, such as Avast FREE. This will update
itself many times per day so that it stays current.

Then Install ThreatFire (also FREE). Why pay when you don't have to?

Then download | Install | Update and run "MalwareBytes Anti Malware" (also
FREE). Run this program on a weekly basis after updating the program
manually.

Then download | Install | Update and run "Super AntiSpyware" (also FREE).
Run this program on a weekly basis after updating the program manually.

Then download | Install | and run CCleaner (also FREE). You can also use
this on a schedule that YOU feel is appropriate to clean out crap files from
your computer <it used to be called Crap Cleaner but they changed it to
CCleaner to be politically correct after it really took off>.
